So Far It's Been Fun In Asheville

I got here on Monday and I have been busy and having a blast ever since. Lemme see... on Monday, Jared and Katie picked me up from the airport. Guess what happened? The airlines lost my luggage... as usual lol. It's ok because I was reunited with my things a few hours later. Then even later at night we went to the movies and we saw "Precious" with Elizabeth. Ok movie. Honestly, if I attempted to take the trip day by day... I would fail. It's all been one crazy busy blur. Bed time has been after 2am every night. It was 5am last night/this morning! Lol. That was following a 5 hour convo on the phone from 11:30pm-4:30am. <3

  • Party with Jamie, Jared and Katie
  • Christmas shopping with Rachel and Jared
  • Bought new Nike shoes
  • Went running all over Asheville doing randomness
    • Ok I can't think of anything else at the moment, but there's plenty lol. Here are some pics from the party... Jamie and I and then Jared and Jamie. Tonight I am going to see "Avatar" in 3D and then we are supposed to get a bit of ice so I will be coming back to the house instead of going out afterwards. And then tomorrow is Christmas so all that stuff is going down and I'm really excited! :D And then Christmas dinner with the family. Can't wait! Then I leave Saturday... and have endless plans from the moment my plane lands at BWI at 9:30pm lol. That will be talked about at a later time. So until then...

      Blizzard!

      Long story short. Right now my family and I are preparing for the snowstorm. I am currently sitting outside the grocery store. They are calling for between 15"-20"+ of snow here starting in a few hours. I'm going to a party tonight. This should be interesting. Then to Nics for the night as I mentioned in a previous post. I'm so excited and slightly anxious at how big this storm looks to be.

      Looking Up? Maybe.

      As you have been reading, my emotional posts have mostly lacked happiness. Well im trying to change that image. You see, the past week has been full of unforeseen twists and turns. From meeting new people, reconnected with past friends, to changing plans that should've made me sad... but in fact caused another exciting door to open. I will admit that i am still going thru a rough time. However, in many ways, these last seven days i believe have been monumental in my efforts to move on. And i want to post this and say to myself, life goes on. You can fight it and try and make the Earth stop spinning, or you can go along with it, go for the ride that goes up and down and see where it takes you. I'm voting I hop back on the ride and just go with it. I feel this way now, but probably wont soon enough. But thats why i am posting this. I want to see for myself, that i wrote this. Prove to myself i CAN feel this way and have a positive outlook. Right now i have sooo many things to look forward to in the coming weeks. So im gonna just focus on that, and let everything else fall in to place, and see where i end up next. :)

      DC Pictures; Change of Plans

      Now... as far as my plans for Asheville, NC. I was supposed to leave Saturday morning and fly down... however it seems the east coast is gonna get slammed with a major winter storm tomorrow night thru Sunday morning. Therefore, I have been forced to change my departure date to Monday. I was down about it, but have since made exciting plans for when the snowstorm arrives. :D Spend the night at Nic's tomorrow night, wake up to snow. Play in it with the family. Come inside and drink hot chocolate by the fire listening to Christmas music and then watching "The Family Stone". It's almost like a dream. I can't wait!

      What An Emotional Roller Coaster!

      Ugh. So, I don't wanna whine or complain, or anything like that... but DARRNNNNN have I gone on a ride since my last post. I hit a low Saturday night when I went on a "date" with a guy for the first time since Nic. Although, I knew nothing would come from it, I was trying to force myself emotionally away from Nic. It didn't work. In fact, the total opposite happened. I saw him immediately after that at a movie party at Dans house, with about 12 other people. I saw Nic as I do almost every other day... but the date left me emotionally vulnerable, and when I accidently saw Nic texting his new interest, Mat, I became very sad... and then he started talking about plans he had with him. It crushed me. I had to go in the other room and cry secretly, then return and sit back next to Nic and act like nothing had happened. Then he left, there was definite tension, not the good kind, between us by the end of the night. His Facebook stated later that night that he was irritated or something. I went to sleep later that night with a feeling of emptiness, sadness... like a pit had been carved in the pit of my soul. When I woke up, it felt the same. I casually rolled over and grabbed my phone, checked my texts and then got on Facebook... that's when it all goes downhill. I became an emotional wreck, I had to drive down to the beach and sit there alllll morning, crying my eyes out for about 3 hours. Then I was convinced by April to move, and come see her... so I did for about 20 mins... then I got the urge to hang with the one girl that ALWAYS makes me laugh... Kristianna. However, she was working at Subway until 3pm... it was only 12. So I went to Subway, and sat there for 3 hours lol. Then we went to the mall and everything was better. We were laughing so hard we were crying and it hurt. Then we met up randomly with soooo many people and saw "The Princess and the Frog". Then Kris and I and Tim went to Double TT. And then home. I've been on a high ever since... I really needed that. Now... as far as the moving situation... I'm not changing anything yet, but when I go to NC, I will be seriously thinking about it.

      Here They Are... The BIG Announcements

      Announcement Number 1) I'm gonna make this short and sweet. For Christmas, I will be spending Christmas with Jared and his family in Asheville, NC. I'm very excited to see everyone again! All of my NC friends will be there. I will be there from December 19 - December 26. I already have so many plans. One that I'm very excited about is going to the Biltmore Estate and seeing it all decorated :D

      Announcement Number 2) This is definitely a shocker to some. I put it on Facebook last night and loved the replies and texts I got afterwards lol. Basically, starting in January, I will be moving back into the Thibodeau household. I will be a roomie, not a live in boyfriend this time lol. Now, honestly, it will be hard for me at times. Cuz Nic and I are no longer together, and seeing him talk to other guys and knowing hes not mine at the end of the day anymore. It sucks. BUT, I feel its worth it. To have my independence. So I'm gonna try it and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, I can always move back.

      Life Is Beginning Again, And I Have A Lot Of Big Decisions To Make

      Ok so since the break up the best way to describe myself would be... a depressed zombie. Now I'm starting to crawl out from the darkness and see some signs of light. Its a process, but I'm doing it. However a lot is happening right now. Even tho we are broken up, I am spending a lot of time at the Thibodeau household. And chilling with them. And I'm loving it. It's getting easier and easier to see Nic. We've talked things out and worked out a good friendship plan :) Hopefully it works as good as we intend it to. I went back to work this week and I'm glad to be back at work. I didn't get much sleep at all this week. A few nights I went to bed around 2:30am and got up at 6:20am. I'm exhausted, but I'm too busy with friends to worry about it. Always on the run doing something. Like last night I went over the Tibs house and helped decorate for Christmas. As seen in the below picture (altho it is blurry its me lol)

      After that we had dinner and watched some TV and had fun times. Then today, I went to work and am going BACK over there tonight and chilling for a while, even tho I'm dead tired and need sleep desperately. Haha. THEN, tomorrow I am going to Washington DC to stay with Elizabeth while she visits this weekend. I'm so excited! And guess what? Next week is pretty much already booked every single day. So friggin busy. Now onto some more... serious news...

      I have some decisions I need to make. One is private and only one person knows about it. And would change a lot of things... but that one is more of a future thing. The more immediate one is a pretty big deal as well. I've been offered to move somewhere and I really want to. But I don't know if it's whats best for me. I have to think about it and will probably decided in a few days. When anything happens with either of these announcements, of course I will update it. :D

      Thanksgiving

      So as tough as these past few weeks have been, I had to put that all behind me and allow myself to enjoy Turkey Day. Nic and I may be broken up, but I am very grateful to still be considered a part of the Thibodeau family. Therefore, I spent Thanksgiving with them. It was rough and emotional at times... well most of the time to be honest. From seeing Nic and not being able to go up to him and kiss him and hold his hand and pet his hair, to seeing my old room and seeing some very small differences in the house compared to the last time I had been there. There were good moments as well. Elle really was a source of happiness and laughter for me last night. And Luc was hialrious as usual. Dinner was amazing. Not really any awkward moments all night, just, different moments. At one point in the night it did become too much for me and I needed to get air. So, I went for a walk around the neighborhood... a 2 hour walk. From 8:30pm-10:30pm. It was cold, windy and wet. But it was the escape I needed. I came back and went upstairs and spilled my emotional guts to Elle, and then we cuddled for about and hour. Nic and I spoke very little to eachother. However, I think as time passes and the hurt fades, the conversation hopefully will start to flow again. I do think it was too soon to jump into a hioliday wth them, but I am 100% glad I did it. I am thankful for having a Thanksgiving and wouldn't trade it for the world.

      Gonna Get Thru This

      Simply put, Nic and I have decided to end our relationship. Was it a mutual decision? Not really. It's gonna be hard for a while, especially considering we spent day and night together for 6 months. However, in time, I can only guess that it will get better. I have the deepest respect for him, and I know when things settle down, and all of the questions stop, and the shock wears off, I'm confident I will still be a part of the Thibodeau family. The fact that we share so many friends, close friends could've turned out nasty, but it is managing to work itself out so far and with the way we are handling this, or at least I know I am, our friends should remain neutral in this situation and their opinions of either one of us should remain the same. It's going to be hard. Of course the details do not need to be mentioned. I will be ok, just give me a few weeks.

      So Much Insanity... Ok Not Really But Still

      You know when you feel like you have a lot to say and you don't but you don't feel like explaining ANYTHING at all? Well that's the mood I'm in. So here's a quick bullet look at what's been going on.

      • Last Wednesday somehow hurt my foot.
      • Called out Thursday and went to docs
      • Doc said it was serious and was put in a boot and told I was told I couldn't work the following week (now this week)
      • Got the Droid
      • Haven't worked all week
      • Doctor says he isn't sure he's ready to send me back to work even tho I need to go back.
      • MRI tomorrow
      • Podiatrist appointment Monday to see if I get cleared to go back to work now on TUESDAY :/
      There ya go. A quick, bulleted update. Some other personal stuff has been left out for now... but I may discuss it at a later time if I feel like it.

      My New Droid

      I will talk about this at length tomorrow. This is to just inform you that today the Motorola Droid went on sale and of course I got one lol. I'm actually writing this post on it right now! This thing is a beast to be reckoned with and its gonna take a few days to figure out how to handle this baby properly. But right now I'm loving every moment of it :) More to come tomorrow.

      Wowsers!

      Ok sooooooooo I have a million things to update you all on. This past weekend was amazing. So quick overview, since I am a lazy typer.

      Friday: Went to the party, had a great time. Went as a baller :P. We danced a lot. Learned a new dance to Britney Spears song "3". It was so much fun. Then when the party was over, I spent some time with friends I really didn't know and we talked around the outdoor fireplace until 4am. Then Amber and I went to McDonald's and I finally go to bed at 4:45am. Here are some pics.





      Saturday: Slept in. Had Courtney over so she and I could hand out candy to the little kids. Then Christie, Amber, Eric and Dan over and joined us after. Mostly everyone except Dan lol. We had an amazing night of discovering eachother and bonding on a deep emotional level. Tears were even shed. It was simply amazing :) Here are 2 pics of Courtney and I handing out candy.



      Sunday: Football <3 Ravens smashed the undefeated Broncos. Great game. Then I went out to dinner with April at R's and then we came back for a bit and hung out at Nic's until she left and I went to bed.

      Rest of the week: I don't think anything exciting happened on Monday. Tuesday either. But oh boy was today (Wednesday) a different story. LLLOOONNNNGGGGG story short, woke up with a pin sized pain at the bottom of my left foot. By midday it was swollen and bluish and hurt all around. And don't even think about touching it! SO PAINFUL! So I went to urgent care and they couldn't figure it out. So they gave me meds and told me to stay off of it. I can't work tomorrow. And that sucks hardcore cuz I am about to get fired for missing so many days :( I don't know what to do. So I am worried about my job AND my foot. Ugh.       Plans, A Blueprint To My Next Year (Quite Possibly My Most Amazing Post Ever)

      So really the only eventful moment I had this week was The FOX News channel, yes the national one, came to PRS Guitars and hung out there all day. That was pretty awesome :) I saw a news anchor I watch all the time on TV and saw how the whole behind the scenes thing goes down. Pretty cool. Other than that, I had a pretty uneventful week. My weekend, however, is looking to be quite the opposite. Today, Friday, I am downloading a boat load of new music and then gonna head out and pick up Will and we are gonna go to the mall and find a costume for tonight's costume party. I am debating between being Lady Gaga or a cheerleader with pom pom's. I was leaning towards Lady Gaga earlier in the week. Now I am leaning towards the cheerleader. I only have a few more hours until the party tho so I need to hurry! After the party, who friggin knows what I'm gonna get into. Not trouble tho, that's for sure.
      Tomorrow after hopefully sleeping in, Will and I are gonna go to the movies. I don't know what we are gonna see since he wants to see "Paranormal Activity" and I refuse to see that lol. I guess we will see. Nic has school and then work after so that's that.
      Sunday's plans compose of one word. Football.

      Now... I'm gonna go wayyyyy into the future, a week from now, next Friday. That's when the DROID is released. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this! If I wore "panties", I'd cream them lol. I can't contain myself. The part that sucks tho is that while everyone else is going to be paying $200 for the DROID, I will have to pay about $1000 for the same phone. Yes that's 3 zero's :(. Why? Because my contract with them doesn't end til December 2010... so I have to pay full retail price of the phone and also a penalty for terminating my contract prematurely. I sure hope it's worth it!

      Now let's look even further into the future. January. I am 99% sure I will be taking hip hop dance lessons at AACC. I am so excited but just need to find out the total cost. Hopefully, it will be affordable.

      Wanna go even further into the future? Well ok then :P I need to make more friends. Now, I know what you are thinking... I already have a ton and am always busy. True. But, most of my friends are moving away next summer. So i need to start making new ones, that plan on staying local, so when my now amazing friends leave me, I have friends still here to keep me going. It's gonna be interesting, but I look forward to seeing who is in my life this time next year.

      And finally, here are some things I plan on doing/accomplishing in the future, however with no set date or goal in time. I want to redo my blog. Change the look and design. Make it more me "now" rather than 2 years ago lol. I need to tone up, lead a healthier life. I need to get some schedule or organization to my life. Like a workout and diet regimen, extra curricular activities. Get involved. I want to become an active member in the volunteer/LGBTQ community. Help those that are cast off to the side or hurt or need help for being who they are.
      I am hoping all of the goals come to fruition, but when is a different story. We shall see. :)

      Now, I think that's all for now. Gotta go shower up and head out and get these plans moving... starting with tonight! :D

      Unexpected Fun Times! :D


      So lets try and make this a long story that one that becomes very short. So Thursday I go to my moms to spend some time there and spend the night. Nothing out of the ordinary Thursday. On Friday, I slept in. And then later in the day I came home/back to Nic's and I showered and got ready to go to the Drag Show Pageant at AACC. I was sooo excited for it lol. So we get there and it's a full house. The show was so fun! Lol. Here Nic and I are with our very good friend Daniel. He was an amazing Lady Gaga. It was so weird seeing him like that!


      And here's a quick look at Daniel and what he looks like without makeup... or clothes on lol.

      Well after that fun night... Nic and I came home and pretty much crashed (from what I can remember).
      Saturday was where unexpected fun happened. You see... everyone I know was going to home coming Saturday night. Well I had a migraine all day. All I did was lay on the couch all day. Then my mom was nice enough to come and drop off some meds and I took them and was feeling better because I went to dinner with Courtney, Nicole, Will, Nic, Amber, Elle and Kristianna at Big Bats for homecoming dinner. We had a blast. Then after dinner, everyone except Elle and I went to homecoming. We went home and just chilled and layed in bed for like 5 hours just talking and bonding. Then we found out that Courtney and Will were coming back over and were spending the night. Long story short, we were up until 4:30am having fun and taking pics. :D





      Sunday was a good chill day. Slept in until a little after 12 noon, when Will proceeded to wake me up lol. Then we just chilled all day until I took him home. Good times. :)

      Verizon Wireless just released this ad and pretty much tore a new one in Apple's iPhone rear end. I love how Verizon is being so aggressive with their ad for their new Droid phone coming very soon. I have been waiting for this thing since Spring!

      Party Time!... And Football!

      So Amanda threw a party last night and it was pretty fun. I was down about some stuff... but it didn't ruin the night. At some points I was crying from laughing so hard :) I love when that happens. A lot of pictures were taken and I'm sure they will find their way onto the net.       Now to today, it's Sunday... and when it's fall season, you know what that means! FOOTBALL! Christie and Courtney are coming over to our unheated house today to watch the game. It's been in the 40s all week and I HATE it. It's so cold in here! Hopefully all of my jumping and cheering for the game will warm me up.

      Bleh

      Starting to feel better... but also thinking a lot too. I hate thinking lol. It gets so, ugh. Anyway, tonight we had a movie night with Will and Courtney. And then we went to McDonald's, came back and played some games and did random stuff. I talked to Elle's future girlfriend Hanna, and messed around on the computer for a bit and decided to post on here. I've downloaded a few songs tonight that I like :) It amazes me how amazing Lil Wayne can be on other peoples songs. Its been so cold! Like highs in the 40s and rain for the past 3 days. I hate. And it's gonna be like that all weekend as well. Ewwww lol. Wow this post has been completely random... OH! I forgot! Apparently, instead of being comfortably behind my ribcage, one of my kidneys is in the center of my body... WTH!? Lol. Anyway, that's all for tonight :P

      An Amazing Weekend; My Poor Mom

      This has been an absolutely amazing weekend. Phil came down from New York and boy have we all had a great time this weekend! Today we went to the National March For Equality in DC. It was so amazing. I will have details and pics for everyone tomorrow.

      My mom has some of the worst luck with her health. I don't wanna get into details, but definitely my mom deserves a break from all of this :(

      It's not driven by religion. It's not driven by preference. Simply put... it's driven by law. This will be the first time I have ever stepped up, and taken action, and hopefully it will be in a big way, along with thousands of others from around the country.

      Equal protection in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states. We will accept no less and will work until it is achieved. Equality Across America exists to support grassroots organizing in all 435 Congressional Districts to achieve full equality.

      BARACK OBAMA. HE WILL BE THERE.


      We are guaranteed equal protection under the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. Free and equal people do not bargain for or prioritize our rights. Full equality necessarily includes all members of the LGBT community and encompasses, but is not limited to:

      * The right to work our jobs and go to school free of harassment and discrimination.
      * The right to safety in our daily lives, and protection from hate crimes.
      * The right to equitable healthcare, and the right to donate blood.
      * The right to equitable immigration policies.
      * The right to marry.
      * The right to serve in the military openly.

      Many bills currently exist to address some of these issues, but we do not support a piecemeal strategy. We seek one federal solution to full equality.

      As members of every race, class, faith, and community, we see the struggle for LGBT equality as part of a larger movement for peace and social justice.       Did you see a mention of skin color, sexual orientation, or sexual identity. It says if you are born in America... and that's it. And that's what I, WE, are demanding.

      Chillin With The Gang

      So tonight Nic, Eric, Dan, Christie and I went to the mall and we had dinner and then we walked around the mall for a bit and then we saw "Zombieland". It was ok. A lot of gore which I don't like but it had funny parts. Being with the original gang though is what I enjoyed the most. Ever since Eric left for college things haven't been the same. So it's good to hang with Eric and everyone :). I love weekends so much and to this day I am very grateful I chose to stay where I am and not accept anything different for now. Right now, I have everything perfectly placed for where my life is right now. :)

      Uh Oh... Deep Thoughts and Realization

      So sometimes I get into my own little world and I start living in my own fantasy of a life. It's still reality, for the most part, but my mind can add some things and twist others. That happened to ne tonight. It kinda hit me like a small bag of bricks. I know things, but with this particular thing, it seems as if my mind had chosen to leave out certain parts of reality. So I had to be gently reminded. They probably had no idea they were bringing me back to reality. But they were. And so I needed to check myself and quickly. And I did, but it kinda hurt. I'm probably making this a bigger deal then it really is. It's just kinda hard. Anyway, things will probably be better in the morning. Hopefully.

      Good Week So Far

      So... this has been a pretty good, somewhat chill week thus far. On Monday, after an easy day at work, I came home and chilled with Nic and just had a lazy night browsing the net looking up any and all information I could find about Britney's new Song "3". Then on Tuesday I went to work and EVERYBODY was texting me saying they heard "3" online or on the radio, but I hadn't yet cuz it premiered while I was at work. So at lunch I rushed back to the house, quickly downloaded it and have been listening to it non stop since lol. Yesterday, Wednesday, I had another easy day at work and afterwards did pretty much nothing. And today... work was DEAD. Then after work I came over my moms and am here to watch our TV shows and spend the night here tonight. This weekend, Eric and Molly are coming home from college, so I know Nic and I are excited about spending some time with them :D

      "3"!



      Here it is! The premiere of Britney Spears' new single, "3"! Catchy, club banger, new and pure pop perfection are words being used by reviewers to describe this gem of a song.       Loving My Pennsylania Trip

      So I got to PA yesterday close to 4:30pm. Since getting here, we have eaten out twice so far, gone to the grocery store at midnight for some Ben & Jerrys, watched a lot of Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network and gone to the mall. Later today we are going to the movies to see "Fame". Can't wait! However this is a small problem... somethings going on with my stomach. It's killing me like crazy and it started right after leaving Olive Garden. Anyway hopefully it gets better before the movies in an hour and a half. Oh and it's cold and rainy here in Allentown, PA.

      Baltimore Raven's Player Supports Equality!

      Happy to have someone like him supporting the cause!

      NFL Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo has come out in support of same-sex marriage, providing some strong and powerful opinions on the topic.

      He recently wrote an editorial, stating:

      “We will look back in 10, 20, 30 years and be amazed that gays and lesbians did not have the same rights as everyone else…If Britney Spears can party it up in Vegas with one of her boys and go get married on a whim and annul her marriage the next day, why can’t a loving same-sex couple tie the knot? How could our society grant more rights to a heterosexual one-night-stand wedding in Vegas than a gay couple that has been together for three, five, 10 years of true love? The divorce rate in America is currently 50 percent. I am willing to bet that same-sex marriages have a higher success rate than heterosexual marriages.”

      Bravo! Well said!

      We don't really follow football, but we sure are rooting for the Ravens this season!!!

      To commemorate his work, Brendon also attended an event last week sponsored by Equality Maryland, where David Tothm Equality Maryland's interim executive director, praised Ayanbadejo’s public stance on the issue: “While not all of us are pro-footballers, one can never underestimate the power of just one voice to change hearts and minds, whether it’s your own family or millions of adoring fans.”

      Ok so Britney Spears is on a roll. She's "cold as fire baby, hot as ice" right now. And thats GREAT! Her second leg of her North American tour sold out, of course lol. And she's NOT slowing down. She's about to release her new album "The Singles Collection"
      on November 24, and release her new single (never heard before) titled "3" on September 29. THAT'S NEXT TUESDAY! I'm soooo excited... but thats not all, Britney is also working on her NEXT album after the release of "The Singles Collection" and it is being said that it is an amazing album and that it will surprise people. :) I cannot wait until next week!

      Michael Jackson may have unfortunately died in June, but his music will live on. In October we can all look forward to a new song, album and movie starring Michael Jackson. What I'm most excited about is the release of his new song, which is said to be a classic and a guaranteed monster smash entitled "This Is It"... how appropriate. I can't wait to hear it! So wwhhheeennnnn can we all look forward to some new MJ? The album will be released internationally on October 26, and in North America on October 27, 2009. The first single from the album, also titled "This Is It", will be released on October 12, 2009. The movie that the soundtrack supports, also called "This Is It" will be in theaters October 30. It's gonna be epic!
