Oh No My Computer Is Dying!

Oh no! It's going crazy! I can barely do anything! I think it's about to completely die. I hope I can get my Top 100 done before it goes completely. I was gonna start work on it today. :( I will try to keep you updated. I know that starting today and thanks to a long weekend, I am jam packed busy through Sunday!

Crazy Weekend!

So wow this last weekend was insane. Some bad, a lot good! So let's go in order. On Friday I was at work, and it was a NASTY cold rainy day. It was ugly. Well I was winding pickup and at 9:44 AM I got a phone call from Lisa telling me that mommom had been rushed to the hospital cuz they thought she had a heart attack. So I immediately leave work and rush to the hospital where I spent many hours with my grandmother and Lisa and my mom. Well when we found out that she was gonna be OK, they let her check out later Friday night. So I drove my mom home and then I packed up and decided to go over Alex's house. Well it's about 7PM and I'm on my way then I get a text telling my I will be staying the night at Phil's. So I met up with Alex and we drove over to Phil's house and we just did random things. Mostly we watched TV and movies. "House Bunny" is friggin hilarious! We got to sleep at around 6 AM on Saturday lol. So then I slept from 6 AM til like 11:30AM, then I hopped in the shower and we all headed to Old Country Buffet. I ate SO much OMG! I'm not even going to say what I had. We actually had a lot of fun there :). Then we went to Target and shopped and took pics there and then we dropped Phil off at his house (after forcing him to listen to a couple of Britney songs, hehe). Then Alex and I went to his house and watched some TV and then headed back out at like 9PM to Hong Kong Buffet in Edgewater. I hadn't been there since like 2001! I loved it :) And of course I had a lot to eat there haha. Then we jammed out to some tunes on the way back to his house and we stayed up watching more TV and went to sleep at like 4:30 AM Sunday. I slept until like 11AM and apparently had missed out on some snow and ice cuz I checked my phone and saw my mom telling me to stay at Alex's until all the ice melted. When I looked outside everything had already disappeared lol. So then at like 11:30AM I headed home. And proceeded to watch the Steelers get their butts kicked by the Titans :-D

I Have Hives!

So apparently I have hives. I'm having a reaction to medication that I was taking for my ears. Ugh. I'm all itchy and broken out on my feet and legs. It's crazy!

Closure FINALLY!

Ok so do you remember this summer when I had like an emotional breakdown? Click Here to go back and look through those crazy posts to remind yourself. Well to be honest, it was about a person. However, after 5 months, because of someone's humility and guilt, lol, that is all officially behind me. I'm not going to get into too much detail, but they apologized up and down and all around. Genuinely. And didn't want anything in return. It's amazing how much a simple, whole hearted apology can heal things. It feels really good to know that when I run into this person at the mall, or the store, or just in passing, that instead of feeling anger and hurt, I can wave and say hi with a smile and know that all is good between us. :-) I wouldn't say we are friends, we won't be hanging out. But we are civil towards eachother. And that is all I wanted. Finally, I can close this chapter of my life with a good ending.

So Many Missed Meetings :-(

So I have missed a lot of meeting because of my illness. However, I think I am getting better enough that starting next week I will be able to go again without fearing getting others sick. So hopefully, everything starts to get back to normal again next week. This has been a 3 week horrible sickness. It sucks.

Big Update On The Last Week

Ok so I'm still not feeling well so this is a major update in a few lines. I'm still sick. Still coughing up mucus. But I feel better too. I am sleeping again yay! My ear infection got worse. I'm almost deaf in my left ear. The meds they gave me didnt help so now they are worried there is permanent damage. I go to the docs tomorrow. I just want to feel better. BTW, I have been sick since November 27...as seen in previous posts. In other news, Britney sold over 500,000 copies of her album in it's first week :-D. And finally... I'm poor lol. The End

So Much Lost Sleep!

Yeah so I'm all better... except for one major thing, that being my lungs! I have so much stuff in them its crazy! Finally during the day if I don't dance around or talk too much I can breath without choking. Night time is a TOTALLY different story. I have barely slept any in the past three nights. I lay there and feel like I'm drowning in my lungs from that stuff and keep coughing and choking on it. I went to the docs today and they gave me new meds. It's crazy. I'm so ready for sleep OMG!

"Britney Spears Day"

I'm so friggin sick it's insane. I hate hate hate this! I'm FORCING myself to go back to work tomorrow and hope everything will work out. Anyway even though I'm really sick, last night I found out that Britney tickets were going on sale today at 8AM. And that she would be performing at that time on Good Morning America. And that her album came out today lol. So I got up at 7 AM today, 4.5 hours after going to bed lol, and turned on GMA and instantly saw all the promo for Britney Spears and her album "Circus". Well a really long story short... and I usually don't talk money on here, but I am today cuz it's special... but long story short, I watched Britney perform her songs on Good Morning America, bought to AWESOME near the stage seats to her "The Circus Starring: Britney Spears" Tour on March 24 in DC, and I ran out in my sweats, hoodie, MAJOR scruff and bought her album... the Deluxe version ;)... of course never taking my sunglasses off the entire time. I was coughing so much just from walking! Anyway now to the money part. Let's just get it over. This past,oh, 12 hours or so has cost me about $350, all on Britney! Lol. Yeah it's a lot. I know. But this is friggin Britney Spears!! Anyway, that's that. I'm so excited about all of this omg. Click Here to take a look back at her amazing performances this week!

Went To The Doctors

So yesterday I went to Urgent Care cuz I couldn't take it anymore. So I get there and they examine me every which way for 3 hours. I mean strep tests, breathing, chest x-rays, ears everything. I was so out of it I don't remember everything lol. But when it was all done and over with I was told I have... Bronchitus, Upper Respiratory Infection, Sinusitus, 2 Ear Infections and possible Strep :(. But now I'm on 5 prescriptions, so hopefully I will be better soon!

Still Sick :(

So this entire 4 day weekend has been a bust so far. I still have tomorrow, but it's not looking promising. Body aches, sore throat, non stop coughing, mucus everywhere, headaches, its just MISERABLE! I have had this since the beginning of the week and it still is here. And so far not going anywhere. Monday is back to work, so I really really hope I miraculously get better by then. This has been NO FUN whatsoever. No appetite, not wanting to do anything. Ugh.

:-( I am sick sick sick. Sore throat, runny nose, MAJOR drainage, body aches, coughing non stop... I'm miserable! I hate this time of year now. I want summer back!!! Anyway, atleast I have today, tomorrow and the weekend off :-D. I went to bed at 8PM last night! And got up at 10:30 today lol.

I Hate Variables

I hate them. I hate when you think life is going some place. Some where certain, it takes a brutal unforeseen turn and you land in the crappiest most tortuous situation. It's not fair.

Going To See Kelly Clarkson TONIGHT!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! So much for sitting around doing nothing! A few minutes after I wrote my last post, the one below, saying I wasn't talking to anyone, I was isolating myself and just watching movies all day, well then I decided to go to Kelly's fansite and see what everyone was talking about and they were all saying how tonights gonna be awesome cuz its Kelly Clarkson's and Reba McEntire's last night together on the "2 Worlds, 2 Voices Tour"! Tonight is the end of the tour. And i was seeing all the people that were going and I was like... OMG! What the heck! Live a little! So I did it. I bought one ticket and am going by myself. I am leaving at 6PM to get there. The show starts at 8PM. Ahhhh! I'm so excited! Oh and I have been fighting non stop with someone and I have had more drama with other people but Im totally forgetting about that and getting all excited about tonight omg! :-D

My Snowy Yesterday, My Lazy Today

Ok so yesterday was technically the fourth day we have had snow this month. The first time I saw 2 flakes at night mixed in with rain, the second I never saw any but a lot of other people saw flurries. Our third snowfall this season was on Thursday and it came early in the morning when I was walking into work at around 6:55 AM. I saw about 15 flakes that time. And finally we come to yesterday. The "big" finale lol. It poured snow off and on all day. It was purrty! I loved it. Below is a picture... if you look you can see all of the white flakes in the air! And did I mention it is still friggin insanely COLLLD!


Now today, Saturday, I am making a lazy, do nothing day. I have been invited to things with people but I am cutting myself from the world today and sitting home and eating and watching movies all day. I'm just gonna pop one movie in after another. Curl up in a ball in my sweats and hoodie on the couch, cover up and enjoy the shows. All day. After I am done with this post, no more computer for me today :-D

It's Cold, It's Snowing, It's MISERABLE!

Yesterday it rained and it mixed and turned to some light snow at night. Today flurries off and on all day, it's frigid! Highs in the 30's lows in the 20's. The wind is howling, so the cold hurts and for the next week highs in the 30's and 40's and lows in the 20's, and of course a clipper coming through on Friday could bring us more light snow. All of this by the middle of November! I soooo want summer back. I'm cold :-(.

"Circus" Leaked!

OMG! Britney's new album has leaked! I'm listening to it now. OMG! I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet... but I can tell you what I have heard is AWESOME! "Blackout", her last album, is my fav album of all time. Will "Circus" take that title? I don't know yet. But it will def atleast be my #2... its that good :)

UPDATE: Ok so I have had a chance to listen to the whole album. First impression is that this is a solid album. Very good. There are definitely stand out songs. The best in no order are... "Womanizer", "Circus", "If U Seek Amy", "Shattered Glass" and "Mannequin". Those are some insanely hot tracks right there. However as a whole, I do not believe "Circus" is better than "Blackout". BUT... it is definitely good enough to come in as my 2nd favorite album.

Cracker Barrel; Cheap Cheap Gas!

Our new Cracker Barrel finally opened! I went today and yay it's really awesome! It was really crowded, but the food was awesome! I have always loved Cracker Barrel ever since I ate there for the first time in like 2001 when I went to work where the need is great in Kentucky. That was my first experience with the restaurant chain and I fell in love instantly lol. Tonight I got chicken n dumplins, corn, hasbrown casserole and mac n cheese and buttermilk biscuits. On a side note, there were a boatload of gay guys working there. And one who seems to be a manager kept introducing fellow coworkers to a guy he was with that he kept calling "his new husband". Interesting considering In 1991, Cracker Barrel instituted a policy requiring employees to display "normal heterosexual values which have been the foundation of families in our society." Workers were fired because they admitted or were assumed to be gay after the first few months that the policy was created. The company refused to change their policy in the face of protest demonstrations by gay rights groups. After 10 years of proposals by the New York City Employees Retirement System, a major shareholder, the company's shareholders voted 58% in 2002 in favor of rescinding the policy. The board of directors immediately added sexual orientation to the company's nondiscrimination policy. I guess they are trying to change their damaged image? It was pretty obvious lol. But all in all, good food, good service, GREAT location lol and awesome prices. :-)

Now as far as gas prices go... the go down, down, DOWN! Take a look at the line that formed outside one of our gas stations...

... the were tons of people lining up waiting to get gas. Why? Well because just last month as you have seen in previous posts, gas prices were well above $3 a gallon. What are they now? Take a look at the picture below to see! I took that picture as I was leaving Cracker Barrel tonight. And trust me... I wasn't the only one taking pictures of that awesome sight! Look below at the current gas prices here...

... isn't that insanely awesome! Finally something below $2 a gallon! Way below! I'm so excited! If the prices never go down and just stay where they are, I'd be happy... and I haven't said that in YEARS! Yay for the sucky economy! Lol.

So Britney's album "Circus" is going to be released on December 2. "Kill The Lights" is a new song from Britney on her forthcoming album. It isn't expected to be a single, but it shows that she is definitely bringing the heat with her new stuff! Life and Gas

Like the post title? Lol. First off lemme cover what I have been up to the past few days. That is work lol. Work work work and more work. But last night I just went randomly driving around. I went to Arnold, then Pasadena and then Annapolis and then home lol. I feel like a lot has been going on but seriously I can't think of anything! Lol. Anyway, ok then. Oh and Barack Obama was elected President of the United States on Tuesday. That was crazy to see so many people going crazy happy over it. Youtube some videos, its fun to watch.

Gas prices continue to fall... yay! :-D Yesterday in Pasadena I saw a price of $1.98! Thats crazy! But a lot of places here are below the $2 mark. Where I live so far the cheapest is $2.09, I really hope we get below $2 a gallon next week! That would be so cool!

Crazy Day... So Tired!

So as usual, I got up at 6 AM yesterday but I didnt get to bed until 2:30 this morning. Then I had to get up at 11:15 to help my mom watch the kids all day. We went to Friendly's and i ate wayyy too much. Then from there we went to the mall and went to the toy store and then we saw "Beverly Hills Chihuahua". Stupid movie, cute dogs. Thennn we left the movies and went to Chuckee Cheese's. That was an adventure. Lol. After Chuckee Cheese's we went to McDonald's and fed them nutritious meals lol. Now we are driving back to their house and "Womanizer" just came on the radio. Woot!

If I Could Have Answered...

One of my best friends sent me a text the other day letting me know that they had their cell phone, and gave me their number through a text. I wanted to reply, I REALLY REALLY wanted to reply, but I couldn't :-(. However, if I did reply I would have had a lot to say, and it probably would have gone a little something like this...

"Heyyyyy! OMG! I can't believe you got a cell phone! :-D Now we can talk all the time when certain 'barriers' come down ;-). I can't wait for that time, because then when you come over my house like you always do now a days lol, I am going to sit right next to you, you have one guitar and I have the other, and I am gonna copy all of your awesome guitar playing skills! :-D And of course we will make it a few seconds in and start cracking up laughing and we will have soooo much fun :-D. But until then, I need you to know that I am still here. I am not going anywhere. I have not given up, and am still looking very much forward to the day that we can hang out and act like huge dorks together again lol. So please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't give up on me, because I haven't given up. Knowing that you, and my other great friends are on the other side waiting for me is such a HUGE motivation. I cannot pin point a specific time where things will get back to normal. However, I want you to know that you and some of my other closest friends will know right before they make the announcement that night. I NEED you to know that, because it's very hard for me to sit there and then notice that they are about to reinstate someone, and I know it's not me, but you don't. So every time they made one of those announcements, I have had to see my friends get all excited and anxious hoping to hear my name, and it's not me, and then I see my friends become sad and discouraged. That is hard for me to see. So you need to know that if they go on stage, and are about to make an announcement of reinstatement, but you haven't been told that its gonna be me before, then it will not be me. Like I said, I will make sure, somehow you and my other close friends will know before the announcement is made :-). With that said, I hope that I am the next name called up there :-). Anyway I know this has been a long text message, and I hope you get it all lol. Oh and BTW I love seeing you when you come over :-D. Lol. Makes things feel a little more like they used to, it's a good way to hold me over until everything IS back to normal :-). Ok I am gonna stop texting now lol. Have a good day!"

October Snow?

Soooo, I came home from work today all kinda sorta bummed cuz it's really cold, in the 40's and its raining and windy and nasty :(... well I turned on The Weather Channel and in the 7 day forecast they show us getting snow and rain on Wednesday! Now I know it won't happen... but it's exciting to see snow in the forecast in October! :D Here's a pic of the TV I took with it showing the awesomeness.

Yesterday

:-D So yesterday was fun. I worked from 7-330 as usual. Then after work I came home for a few mins and checked out all my online pit stops. Then I quickly ran back out and went to pick up April so that we could go to the mall and movies and see "High School Musical 3". Well her mom was in the hospital having surgery so I went to the hospital to get her in Annapolis. I got to the main entrance and texted her that I was there. Well I waited for her and she said "where, I'm outside and I don't see you". So I must have been at the wrong entrance right? So I went to the only other drop off/pick up area and said "I'm here come back out". And she said that she never went inside and she was still waiting for me and didn't see me. Well I was in front of a parking garage and a bus. So I asked her if she was by the garage and bus. She said no garage and they didn't have the blue car. So I drove around and around and finally after like 30 mins of trying to find her I said "I'm parking outside the main entrance/ER area and you walk to me" lol. Then you know what she said? "I'm not at the hospital dumby! I'm home". :-O Can you imagine how I felt? I had rushed out of the house, crossed the Bay Bridge and sat outside the hospital waiting for her and she wasn't even there! And to make things worse, traffic was stopped going back home cuz it was Friday evening, rush hour! I would have to sit in a 15 mile traffic jam just to pick her up. So I called my mom to complain and wouldn't you know it!? By some awesome coincidence she was about to come across the Bridge! So she said that she'd pick April up for me and drop her off to me :-D Yay! Mommy saves the day! Lol. So while I was waiting for April, I roamed the mall and all that. Then they got there and April and I ate, I had Subway and she had Arby's. Then we went walking through the mall. Then at 7PM we got in line for the movie. Can you believe the line was this long a half hour before they let us in!?

And it was wayyy behind us too! And when the line starting moving everyone screamed. And when the movie started they all screamed. Piercing screams. And when Zac Efron came on... oh Lordy... the screams had to have been heard from outer space. And when there were guys in just towels... same. Zac Efrons nekked back...same. Then there was a scene where it's just guys singing and dancing to this deep beat and at the end you heard all the girls take a deep breath and then cheered. I don't know what was more entertaining... the movie or the audience lol. I loved it. It was awesome :-) Then after that I dropped April off and I came home at around 10:30 PM. Then I was informed that my mom was sent to the hospital. I stayed up until 3 AM. I ate a lot of cereal, and yapped on the phone and talked to my grandmother. Then I went to sleep and when I woke up this morning at 11 AM my mom was home :-)

It's 1:30 AM

Yes. It's friggin 1:30 AM. I am 4.5 hours away from being up 24 hours. I'm not even tired really. It has been an awesome day... well technically yesterday was lol. But now my mom is in the hospital. I don't wanna get into too much detail, but it might be really serious. I will keep you updated. But yeah I just got off the phone. I've been talking to peeps. Random ones lol. Pointless convos cuz I have no one to talk to :-( Hopefully that will change soon. I went to the movies and mall and all that jazz. I will post about that tomorrow... er... later today. As for now, I think I will try to go to sleep and hope my mom does good in the hospital.

Tomorrow is Friday. Yay for the weekend. Tomorrow night is when my guilty pleasure will rise up again and show it's ugly face. Yes, tomorrow night I am going to see... *looks around to make sure no ones around and whispers*... "High School Musical 3", Lol. Tomorrow is hopefully the last installment of the show so that I can move on from the silliness that it is. But non the less, I am excited to see it :-D. Then as far as this weekend goes, I might have to work Saturday, that's still up in the air. It would be the first Saturday that I'd have to work since the beginning of the year! Hopefully not though. But I might have a crazy weekend either way so I will keep you posted.

So Ms. Spears is 100% back. Her music is breaking records, her video is #1 and her shape is stellar. I mean look at that picture above taken today! She is rehearsing for either a performance or her next music video. Yay! :-D But Britney is also the talk of a new song by Bebo Norman. The title is "Britney"... so original lol. But the song is really amazing. It points out the medias faults in how they treated Brit and how the world might be starting to move to her side. It's an awesome song. Take a listen below, and LISTEN TO THE LYRICS. They are so true, and on occasion sad. But we all know how it has ended in real life :-D

I Don't Like The Weekend :-(

There is nothing to do. I mean, there IS... but only if you're looking for trouble... and that is not me. So therefore I have to settle for boredom. Sure there is the occasional fun day that happens like once a month on the weekend for me, but that seems to be happening a lot less these days. I see everyone else doing things, making plans and all that good stuff... and when I am asked what I'm doing on the weekend, 99% of the time it's either "I don't know", or "I am just gonna roll with the punches and see what happens", and then of course there's the ol' faithful "nothing". Lol, and in reality they all mean the same thing when I say them. I'm tired of doing nothing :-( I wanna do something. I guess that is why I don't have the fondest feelings towards the weekend. Except I do get to sleep in! :-D But the most fun always happens at work. So it's sad, but true that I actually look forward to the work week.

Omg... I'm In Shock... It Actually Happened

I... I... I can't believe I'm going to say this. It's just... so... WOW. Shocking, unbelievable, I would have never seen this coming. But it happened and I guess everyone should know. I have a new favorite singer! :-O *gasps*. I know. It's crazy. I still LOVE Kelly Clarkson, and she is still at a very close #2... i can't believe I just said that, but it's true. I can't deny it any longer. My new #1 is Britney Spears. It's ironic because shes actually been around about 5 years longer than Kelly, yet just now I'm accepting the fact that I like Britney's music better. All I listen to anymore is Britney. My love for her started to really grow in 2006 when she had been absent for awhile. Then last year when she was going through all that craziness, and she released "Blackout", I officially became addicted to her. To this day "Blackout" is my favorite album of all time. Britney makes nothing but irrisistable, catchy, pop music. My favorite stuff of hers is the urban based stuff, i.e. "I'm A Slave For You", "(I Got That) Boom Boom", "Gimme More", "Freakshow" and so on. Well that's it. Britney Spears is now my #1 girl as far as music goes. The rest follow like this...

Gas is now down to $2.71 a gallon! OMG! It probably won't go much, if any lower since OPEC is taking measures to avoid further declines in oil prices. But being this much below the $3 mark is awesome :-D

OMG! I'm Gonna Be In A Britney Fan Club Video!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! :-D I'm so excited. Britney's fan club BreatheHeavy.com, the largest fan club in the world is making a fan made music video for "Womanizer". Well they asked people from all around the world to send in videos of them singing "Womanizer" and they would chose the ones to put in. Well guess what!? I recorded some scenes as I mentioned Friday of me singing while driving and also dancing in the parking garage, and this is the email I got from Breatheheavy.com

Gas Prices Are Free Falling!

Wow, the state average in Maryland just last week was $3.43, just one week later it is now averaged out at $3.16! That price plummeted! Hopefully it will continue to plummet. However OPEC has called an emergency meeting to see what what they can do about the prices falling like a rock. Lol. They just need to let us pay $1.99 a gallon again :-D

Yesterday (Updated With Video)

OMG! So last night... actually ALL day yesterday was AWESOME! I mean I woke up at 6AM in a great mood and I loved my entire day at work. I couldn't stop smiling and laughing all day while working, it was crazy! I barely even listened to my iPod at work cuz I was just having an awesome time. And then after work I came home and got my video camera and then left and recorded a scene for the "Womanizer" fan club music video, as I headed to pick up April. After I got her, we shot another scene of me driving, this time she was holding the camera and getting the passenger perspective. And then one we got on the Bay Bridge, we shot another time. And then after we got to the mall, we parked in the parking garage and turned up some Katy Perry and opened the car doors and danced right there in the parking garage for all to see! It was so fun! Then we went trapsing through the mall, and then to our new 3 level Target, which by the way has escalators just for the shopping carts! They look like roller coaters! It's so cool! I wanted to hop in a cart and ride the ride! Lol. Then after that we went to eat and then loitering and then to Barnes and Nobles and looked at funny books and then after that, I think we came home lol. Then I watched the world premiere of the "Womanizer" music video. Yay! Awesome awesome AWESOME so much fun time! Oh and guess what!? When I went to work gas prices were $3.09 a gallon... when I came home after all my excitement gas prices plummeted to $2.99! Finally, we made it below the $3 mark again! :-D I was so tired though I barely noticed it lol. And oil closed today at $79.87 a barrel... the lowest it's been in 13 years.

I have a lot of stuff to talk about today! And if I don't get to it tonight i will tomorrow. Its been insane. It involves shooting numerous scenes for a Britney Spears fanclub music video, on scene involves me dancing in the mall parking garage, and 3 of me driving! I also went running around and acting crazy in the mall and omg so much more that I will talk about later.... also "Womanizer" music vid is about to premier on 20/20 in just a few mins! AHHH! So much!

Woot! I FINALLY have a release date for "Mic's Top 100 of 2008", my yearly countdown of my biggest songs of the year! You ready? The release date is officially Sunday, December 28, 2008. Let me repeat that a bit louder so you don't forget...

Okeedokee. So apparently I am becoming a mini Britney fan site because I am getting requests from people to post the latest photos from Britney's new music video "Womanizer", that will be premiered this Friday night on 20/20... SET YOUR TIVO's! Anyway, here are some HOT pictures of Britney. She is DEFINITELY 100% back to her old self. I'm so excited!




Now as far as gas prices go.. they go DOWWWWWN! And that's a good thing... until you remember that it's cause we are plummeting into the worst economy since the Great Depression in the 1930's! Hopefully it won't get that bad! Anyway, today I filled up at the lowest it has been since last winter, at $3.19 a gallon! And Mary, a girl I work with told me that she got gas in Dover for $3.12. Woot!

Now let's hope they keep going down, and hope that the economy goes back up at the same time! I know, wishful thinking :-P

I Handled Some Prestigious Guitars Today!

So today has been pretty awesome! Before lunch my hands graced the new guitar for Daughtry! But thats not the kicker. See the picture of me holding the guitar above? Well the picture on the guitar is of a dragons face. It is headed straight for Nickelback... yes the world famous band. But thats not all, that guitar Im holding is going to be played by Nickelback in an upcoming, nationally syndicated commercial on TV! So awesome!

Work Has Begun On "Mic's Top 100 of 2008"

It is official. I have started to work on this years countdown of my top 100 songs for the year. Of course I haven't started making the actual show since we still have a bit over 2 months left in the year. However there is a lot of work that goes on besides actual recording. I have to make the album cover, and that's a long drawn out process of picking and choosing and mashing and tweaking. Then there's finding and editing sound effects that I plan on using as audio for the show. I also have to get the layout of the show ready so that it flows smoothly and stays within the 4 hour time limit I have set for this years show. Right now I'm focusing on the album cover. I have a lot of ideas and am trying to figure out which way I want to go with it. I'm excited to see how it turns out :-D As soon as it's finished you know I will let you see it. Also I'm probably going to come up with an exact release date for the countdown by the end of the week. It will be somewhere in the last 2 weeks of December. Stay tuned!

I Won Another Guitar!

OMG! So yesterday was our monthly drawing for the guitar again at work, I didn't even show up for the drawing lol. Well to make a decent sized story more readable, I was told later that afternoon to go get my guitar. I was shocked and thought there was a mistake, but there wasn't. I've won the guitar two months in a row now! Some people that have worked there for 20+ years STILL haven't won one! And the first two months that I was eligible (you have to work there 3 months then you can win), I won! It's crazy. This one is black. It's hot :-D lol. I will post several pics of this, the first and both together tomorrow. For now here's the one I won this week.

Woot! I FINALLY went shopping! Yay! After the meeting I came home, then went right back out and picked up Marshall and we went to the mall and shopped for like 4 hours lol. We went to like every store. I wasn't really in the mood to shop for everything I need... but I did get some shoes! Woohoo! And I got a Aeropostale shirt and sweat pants. And also jean. Yay me! After shopping we went over to Outback and ate the yummiest food ever. Then we came back to the Island and went to Rita's for dessert. Then home. :-D An awesomely fun day!

5:30 PM UPDATE: Ok so here's the final word on what's happening with "Womanizer". As you can see I had an interesting morning lol. I ripped the song online this morning and took it to work. It was moderate quality, but def. good enough to pump it ALL DAY in my ears. So that's what I did. However radio DJ's have been mean to her. They are just saying bad things about her and the song. I have to say that when I first heard it I was sooo excited, but not blown away. However, it's a grower. Trust me. It's good the first time you hear it, but it gets better every time you hear it, its AMAZING now. A masterpiece. I hope radio gives this a fair chance. Some stations are actually refusing to play it :-(. So sad. Anyway I love it. And have it on constant repeat baby. And I have it in HQ now too, yay!

7:30 PM UPDATE: Ok so maybe I exaggerated a bit. There are actually some really good reviews coming in now. The LA Times said some awesome stuff about it, and only about 50% of DJ's are knocking it. Internationally "Womanizer" is getting a lot more love than here in the States.

"Womanizer" Released Tomorrow!

So it appears that there will be no need to have a "Womanizer" Watch - Round 2. After Round 1 went, well a bit hay wire, lol, I'm greatful for that. It is definitely, 100% confirmed that "Womanizer" will be premiered tomorrow, Friday September 26th, at 6 AM on radio. Above is the official promo CD cover. The sound is described as "Toxic" mixed with "Ooh Ooh Baby". Critics that had an early listen to the song today said,

"It's a brilliantly executed mashup of 'Toxic' with the last album's more insane moments like 'Ooh Ooh Baby'. Most important thing: it doesn't fade at the end - the beat drops out while Britney trills the main "YOU'RE A WOMANIZER OH WOMANIZER OH YOU'RE A WOMANIZER BABY" hook. This track lays a really strong foundation for the fully-realised comeback that didn't quite happen last time and it's hard not to think of it as a late contender for single of the year. Like we said above, it's literally quite good."

Isn't that awesome! OMG! And to limit my posts on "Womanizer", cuz I know you're pretty much sick of it lol, here's some new info about her music video for the song that has already been in production, as said by one of the people working on the video...

"She dances throughout most of the video, the choreography is INCREDIBLE, she looks amazing. She was totally professional the entire time. NOW FOR THE DETAILS. It is definitely 'Toxic' #2. The same blonde guy is in it again, same director etc. She wears a long dark wig, and was wearing a total dominatrix outfit. A patent leather vest with super tight pants was another outfit. There's a bar scene in which Britney is dancing around and whatnot. Also there's an office scene in which Britney had a short dark bob and was dancing so hard that she ripped her leather skirt and had to get a new one!! The old Britney is totally back in full force and the video is going to be incredible. There was a little bit of shooting with a blonde wig and there will be more shooting going on tomorrow."

Nasty Weather On The Way!

The past two weeks or so have literally been perfect in the weather department here. Like as perfect as perfect gets. Autumn has gradually been easing itself into our area and is pretty much here in full force with cool, crisp days and chilly nights. So that's all the nice things I have to say about the weather, cuz' starting tomorrow and continuing through the weekend, right into Sunday we are gonna have rain and wind! We are gonna have winds possibly gusting to 60 MPH tomorrow and heavy rains, then it tapers off Thursday late night. Then the heavy rains move in again on Friday and stay with us into Sunday. Britney Spears Guitar Pick

Haha, this is perfect timing considering all the Britney stuff going on with her comeback and all. This is really cool though. There's this awesome guy at work, his name is Lenny, and he always has the inside track with all of our artists and stuff. Well one time when he was working on a guitar for Britney Spears' guitarist, Skip Dorsey, Skip actually as a thank you I assume, gave Lenny a guitar pick that he used on tour with Britney! Well Lenny knows how into Britney I am, so he brought the pick in today and gave it to me! Can you friggin believe that! I have the ACTUAL guitar pick used for the ACTUAL Britney Spears tour! So awesome! See it below. On the back it had Skip's signature. This is the front :-D

This Past Weekend

So as you know, all weekend was worthlessly dedicated to Ms. Britney Spears and her new single "Womanizer". Well it never was freaking released. They are having "issues" and it is now delayed until next Monday, the 29th. So that's that. What else happened this weekend? Well the Ravens won, woot! I'm lovin' the Ravens this season! Woohoo! :-D Also I can't completely get rid of my cold... I mean I feel 100% bettah, but I'm still hackin' up mucus. Nice huh? Lol. Work was out of this world last week... can't say too much but because of "customer confidentiality, but it was filled with a lot of celebs and a lot of security lol. I felt special being able to have access there. :-D Anyway, I guess that's all for the updates.

On "Womanizer" Watch - Round 1

10:45 AM: Rumors are running rampant on websites, blogs and fansites all over the net that Australia will debut "Womanizer" to their audiences at 7:30 AM Melbourne, AUS time. That's 5:30 PM our time today (Eastern USA)! Now you can pretty much assume that radio stations have the song around the world and are now just waiting for the legality to play it (certain radio stations bought the right to play it first, everyone else has to wait til they get the chance to play it). So any hour now, IF the rumors are true, "Womanizer" will be made public!

11 AM UPDATE: There is a lot of talk that it will NOT be premiering in Australia now. However there are "papers" confirming it will be. If not, Z100 in New York will be premiering it at 1:30 AM tomorrow.

12:16 PM UPDATE: Britney's record label just came out with more info, they said that "Womanizer" will be officially added to Australian radio playlists from 7 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time. That's 5 PM US Eastern Time. Most Australian breakfast radio shows start at 6 AM. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT AUSTRALIAN RADIO STATIONS WILL OFFICIALLY HAVE "WOMANIZER" IN THEIR PLAYLIST FROM THIS TIME, BUT MAY STILL BE UNDER FURTHER INSTRUCTION NOT TO PLAY IT.

12:32 PM UPDATE: Radio station Nova 100 in Melbourne, AUS is said to be the radio station that will premier "Womanizer" in Australia. To listen to the radio station, just click the link and give it a moment to load, they are saying that literally MILLIONS of people are online just for the purpose to hear "Womanizer" the moment it leaks. I have been bouncing all over the net and I can definitely attest to that. It is so crazy that numerous websites have actually crashed! By the way, I find it highly amusing that I've gotten all caught up in this lol. It's pretty funny. 2:20 PM UPDATE: Ugh. This is just crazy. There's so much happening at once online with this and it's leading no where. Two radio stations in Australia, one in England, one in Germany and two here in the US all claim that they will premiere it at 7:30 AM their times, except the US stations, they say it will be 1 AM their local times. But, the buzz in the last few hours have shifted from an Aussie release back to a New York release at around 1 AM tomorrow morning. However, to add more confusion to the mix, an email has been leaked from an Australia media outlet showing that they HAVE indeed received the final finish mp3 file of "Womanizer", and that it is LOCKED until 7 AM their time. It also stated that Australian radio stations will receive instructions on what to do no later than 7 AM.

5:14 PM UPDATE: It's 7:14 AM Monday, September 22 in Australia, they are 14 hours ahead of us, and nearly 15 minutes after all radio stations in Australia received and added "Womanizer" to their playlists, they have not played it, nor has there been a leak. This means that there is most likely a virtual "lock" remaining on the mp3 file until past midnight eastern USA time. It appears that New York does indeed still have the legal right to play the song first. BTW, I am listening to Nova 100 in Melbourne, Australia right now in hopes that maybe they will play it. Lol. So sad.

5:44 PM UPDATE: The Australian premiere is NOT happening. The Edge FM in New Zealand announced "Womanizer" is being delayed with its premiere in New Zealand/Australia. Looks like we have to wait until tomorrow when it debuts on Z100. Here's what they had to say on the radio.

9:21 PM UPDATE: I'm totally done with this tonight. It looks like 1:30 AM is the premiere time. Still on Z100. I'm sooo not staying up for that. Guess I will wait until the morning. The fansites are all going crazy. People are drinking coffee and Red Bulls worldwide staying up into the wee hours of the morning waiting to hear this thing. So crazy!

Walking In The Almost Dark

Why All The Music Posts?

So you are probably coming to my site wanting to see updates, pictures and videos of my life... and instead you see a boatload of music posts. So whats up with that!? Well there are two parts to that answer.

1) My life is very uneventful lately since I have practically become a hermit lol. It will pick up in a couple months... but until then there really won't be, I don't expect, anything much. So that leaves me with music.

2) Music is my life. So therefore it affects me everyday in every way. Therefore I want to share with you what my "Life's Soundtrack" is at the moment. And also a year or two from now, I would like to look back and see what I was diggin and how it was affecting me then, which is of course now at the moment lol.

So that's why I am posting a lot of music posts right now. Other than work, it is my life right now.

For The First Time This Year

I have mixed feelings about this. For the first time this year I am wearing a hoodie. I tried holding off until October to wear one, but it's just too cold in the house not to lol. So i gave in and am wearing one as I type this. It's just a sign that cold weather is right around the corner. I love summer. I miss waking up and walking outside to the warmth and even the humidity. But the seasons change and I guess I just have to deal with it lol. This is the first year ever that I haven't gotten tired of one season, and wasn't excited about the change.

OMG! I'm so excited! Britney's new song "Womanizer" will be released to radio on Monday, and hopefully it will leak before then. However, if you are dying to know what the song is gonna sound like... YOU GOT IT! I got my paws on a 37 second clip of the song. It very low quality, but you can definitely hear Britney's parts and some of the music and it darn catchy! I can't wait for the whole thing to leak! But for now, hit play and enjoy the 37 sec clip of "Womanizer"!

September 20, 10:40 AM UPDATE: Jive released a statement to MTV stating that this clip is from the "rough mix" of the track, not the finalized single. It was apparently recorded by the radio station via a telephone. KIIS FM in L.A. and Z100 in New York have paid for the rights to be the first two official "world premieres." Any station who plays the track without consent will be fined $250,000 for playing it as a "world premiere."

Today Was A Pretty Spectacular One; Social Hibernation

Wow! Today was just randomly awesome! Lol. No particular thing happened or anything, but I feel like today was pretty darn good! I'm exiting my cold thankfully. It's not all gone though by any means, I'm still coughing and have nose issues, but other than that it's all good. Everything else was great today. I don't know what it was/is but I like it! Now I'm at home and pretty darn bored. I'm not gonna go to the meeting tonight because I am "contagious". So it's better to stay home and just spread my germs here and at work lol. I really wanna go out though. Oh btw, I'm trying something new into the autumn... and that is I am in "social hibernation". What is that you may ask? Well I will tell you lol. Since the end of August I have not gone out or done anything with anyone except immediate family... and that's even limited. Why? Well to make a really long story short, to stay out of trouble. Again, not that sort of trouble that you would think of. I'm not a "get in to trouble" kinda guy. It's all relative. Lol. It wouldn't be "trouble" if it were anyone else, but for me it is so therefore I'm trying at all costs to stay out of it. :-) So yeah, I plan on being in this state of "hibernation" until everything gets fixed and corrected that needs to be, both spiritually and personally. I will probably make some exceptions though. Like next week, I plan on going to the mall and shopping like crazy with Marshall. That will be a rare situation that I make an exception. Anywho, I guess that's it for now.

The World Wants New Britney NOW!

So the world wants the new song from Britney Spears so bad that radio stations world wide fell hard for a "joke". An unsigned artist named Myah Marie made a song called "Candy From Strangers". Innocent enough right? Well someone had to go and take her song and send it to radio stations around the world and they said that it was Britney's new song! The world is so impatient (as am I lol) to get their hands...er... ears on her new song that the radio stations started playing "Candy From Strangers" on heavy rotation today. Again, that's a big problem because IT'S NOT BRITNEY SPEARS! Her new song WILL be released on Monday, and it WILL be called "Womanizer". Phew! This was exhausting to type! Lol. Anyway, Myah Marie's song "Candy From Strangers" that fooled almost everyone today, is pretty darn catchy. Wanna hear it? Of course ya do! Awesome New "Live" Blog Feature

Ok so as if me constantly updating you almost everyday wasn't enough, now you can see what's goin on with me in between each post! What happens between one post and the next? Well now you will know, thanks to Twitter. It's simple. Just look over to the right at the sidebar, and now you see the very first thing at the top is "Live Twitter Updates". Under that will be the last 5 updates from me on Twitter. They will be from my phone and super simple to understand. And it will be the small things, like I said, that happen in between posts... something as simple as "Getting ready for the meeting" or "Eating dinner" or just to say that "it's snowing!" or even if I just wanted to share a thought like "have you ever wondered why the sky is blue?". Got it? Good. Now you can keep even closer tabs on me than before! Lol. Like you needed that!? This is in the experimental phases still for about a week to see how often I want to do it. We shall see!

About To Have Music Overload!

Ok, so music is my life. And the music of my life includes Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. They are my women, along with Rihanna. Well guess what my peeps. Kelly Clarkson is about to release her new single any day now. Christina just release her new song that is getting insane play on my iPod, and the comeback Queen Ms. Spears? Well her label just confirmed today that her new song will be release NEXT WEEK! And if that wasn't enough, Hilary Duff just released her new song from her new album and it's so friggin catchy! I can't take it anymore! Lol. September is now officially the most exciting month this year for music! Oh and BTW, you will get to hear both Kelly's and Britney's new songs as soon as I get them... which almost always is weeks before the public. So keep checkin' back for that!

7:13 PM Update - Kelly Clarkson's management and label may be considering delaying the release of her new single and album due to the news of Britney's new music coming out. Kelly was supposed to release her new song this month, and her new album December 2... well that's exactly the same plans Britney Spears has. I wouldn't blame Kelly's team putting it off. Either way, I really don't care. I have so much music right now that's hot in my world it's just unreal.

7:30 PM Update - Um yeah... another update lol. Sorry but today has been crazy in the music world. I just heard the new Pussycat Dolls album "Doll Domination" and it's awesome! Some genuine, catchy pop. The best music I have heard since Britney's last album! "Bottle Pop", "Magic", "When I Grow Up" and "Whatcha Think About That" are all the hottest tracks on the album. This is crazy!

Totally Got Worse; Oil Prices Plummet

Ok so first things first, last night I said my throat started getting pretty sore... well today I'm pretty much miserable. :-( It got worse and my toxic snot that feels like hot lava is burning my throat! This really sucks. I'm trying my hardest not to call outta work cuz this week is really important. Anyway, I barely made it through today.

Now to oil/gas prices... I'm all types of confused lol. Oil PLUMMETED today to $94.21 a barrel. That's the first time oil has been below $100 since March. The market price for gas also plummeted $.22 to $2.58 a gallon. Now here is where I get all confused. You would think that because of all of this gas prices at the pump would plummet too right? WRONG! Let me put things in perspective before I go on. The last time oil was just below $100 a barrel, gas at the pump was in the $2.90s. Today, gas is at $3.68 - $3.77! What's up with that!? And furthermore, we have about a $.40 gas tax here in Maryland, so our prices really should be in the $2.90s like they used to be when market gas price and oil were this low! So I'm a bit ticked about this and confused.

All Is Good... Not Well

I'm home! Safe and sound. The assembly was great. Gas prices were so cheap there, at least right before Ike hit Texas that is! On Friday the gas in New Jersey was $3.23 on Saturday they shot up to $3.58! I hate when hurricanes do that. Anyway, as you can tell in the title, all is not well. And by that, I mean me. I believe I am getting sick. My throat is getting pretty sore from what I call "toxic snot drippage". Lol. It's not bad yet, but it barely started yesterday, and now from a 1-10 it is a 4 on the soreness level. I'm really really hoping it stays this level and goes down. I can't afford to get sick this week because we are preparing for this huge event at work and all week I need to be in tip top shape! Well I guess I'm gonna go and eat some waffles! It's good to be home baby! Oh yeah and on a side note, I didn't do any shopping that ended in purchasing anything this weekend... so I'm till in dire need of shoes!

I'm At A Mall In New Jersey... And Scared

Um yeah, so here in New Jersey, I'm currently in the mall and it is the most insane place ever! I have never seen so many adolescents in my life! And of course it's late in the evening Friday night and its jammed! I'm not looking anyone in the face lol.This is crazy! Anyway I wanted to post this just in case I die lol. If I post again, you know I survived. If you don't hear from me by Monday... well... you know. :-P

Leaving For Circuit Assembly Tomorrow

So this weekend is the Circuit Assembly. Since our Assembly Hall has been torn down and is the process of being rebuilt, we have to travel to a different Assembly Hall until ours is done. So the one we have been assigned to is the one in Turnersville, NJ. So tomorrow afternoon after work I will be headed up there to the hotel. Other than the Assembly program on Saturday and Sunday, I plan... PLAN... lol to go to the movies and do a heck of a lot of shopping while up there. But we shall see. I don't expect to post from up there. If it's something that I feel is worthy or special enough to be posted then I will, other than that don't expect a post again until atleast Sunday night when I get home. Monday is almost certain to get a post if not Sunday.

I Miss My Friends

So I'm really missing my friends. My real, true, genuine friends. It's been forever since we've been able to talk, hang out or do anything and I'm ready. It sucks not being able to do all that stuff. But I'm working really hard so that hopefully really soon we can hang out and goof off again like ol' times :-D I hope we can pick up right where we left off. Until then, the meetings and conventions/assemblies will have to do for now, atleast I get to see everyone. It gets me by. That's all I can ask for right now I guess. But, I WILL NOT let this get me down! I'm a happy person, on the right path and I plan on staying on it! :-D Anyway, just wanted to vent. No worries!

Review Of The VMA's

So last night as you all know was the 2008 MTV VMA's. After a few sucky years, MTV finally brought the heat! There weren't really and scandalous shockers or surprising performances, it was just a consistently good show. What can I say? Britney didn't perform, but she did win all 3 awards she was nominated for. She is definitely back. :-D She look so good too! As you can see in the picture lol. However Ms. Spears wasn't the only hot mama, in more ways than one, to shine bright last night. Her former Mickey Mouse Club buddy Christina Aguilera performed her new song "Keeps Gettin' Better". All in all the night was awesome. Good performances, good awards, good everything really. In case you missed it, here are the two best performances of the night.

Pink DEFINITELY took the cake as far as performances. She looked hot, sounded good, and put on an AWESOME show. This is a MUST SEE. Pink rocked it baby!

Also doing a good job last night was Christina Aguilera. Although she lipsynced her whole performance, which is really unlike her, it was still good. I do have to say though, she really didn't look like herself though, lol. And what's up with all the "Head twitching" in the performance. Watch and you'll see.

I'm Gonna Be Exhausted Tomorrow!

The VMA's were tonight and lemme tell you something... IT FRIGGIN ROCKED! But it made me stay up late. And of course after all the awesome performances, I had to download some cool songs I heard for the first time tonight. Now it's almost midnight and I'm so tired. I'm actually typing this on my phone as I get ready for bed. I hate to imagine what tomorrow is gonna be like. Lol. Hopefully with all this new music jammin' in my ears tomorrow I will be wide awake.

Tomorrow Is The 2008 VMA's!

So is anyone else as stoked about the VMA's tomorrow night as I am!? Well I know a few of you are. I can't wait. Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and a lot more will be there! I can't wait. Oh and look at this video of Britney just a few days ago doing a dance rehearsal. She looks amazing. Like the old Britney is finally back. And the song in the background sounds awesome! I can't wait for it to leak! Wonder if she will surprise us and actually perform tomorrow night after all.

Bye Bye Hanna

So as I type this Hanna is exiting our area. Above is a picture I took of one of our traffic signs that read "Tropical Storm Warning In Effect". It was pretty cool. Anyway Hanna did nothing lol. Well I mean she dumped a decent amount of rain, but nothing like they were calling for, atleast here. And we had some breezy conditions, but I doubt you could call it "windy". I'm a bit bummed. Oh well. Anyway, now we get to watch Hurricane Ike. Already having been a Category 4 hurricane, Ike will enter the Gulf Of Mexico late next week, and this time next week a Category 4 or 5 hurricane will be making landfall right near New Orleans. Lovely.

New Music Like You've Never Heard!

Ok so I have two songs that aren't even released to the public yet, radio hasn't even seen, heard or touched these tracks yet. However, somehow I have managed to get my hands on these suckers. Are you ready?

First up is Fall Out Boy. I didn't even know they were coming out with a new album anytime soon, however this is their brand new song "I Don't Care". It will be on their new album "Folie à Deux" which will be released November 4. Despite the French title of their album, all of their music is in English, as it should be since they are all American lol. Anyway, I got my hands on this gem of a track yesterday and it's been on heavy rotation on my iPod since. It is definitly their best song to date.

And even BIGGER news is the fact that I somehow freaking managed to get Christina Aguilera's extremely anticipated new song. Up until about 3 hours ago nobody had any idea what the song was like, called or when it will be released. However, like I said, I managed to get a hold of it and lemme tell you something. This song is unlike anything you have ever heard. Her last album was a nod to the 50's genre of rockabilly pop from the 50's. This time around, she's jumped into the future. The song samples heavy futuristic sound effects, and it works awesomely. The song is called "Keeps Gettin' Better". She will debut this song when she performs it Sunday at the VMA's, and the song will be released to radio on September 22. Guess what... you don't have to wait weeks to hear it! Preparing For Hanna

Hanna is going to make landfall in North Carolina around midnight tonight. She probably will make it back to hurricane strength before hand. So what can I expect right here at home? Well here are the expectations from the National Weather Service and National Hurricane Center for my area.

• A Tropical Storm Warning Is In Effect
• A Flood Watch Is In Effect
• Winds Sustained At 25 MPH- 35 MPH, Gusts Up To 60 MPH
• Heavy Rain Totaling 3-5 Inches+
  
• Power Outages Are Likely
• Worst Of It Hits Tomorrow Around Noon

Here are some pictures of me bringing in and securing our lawn furniture in preparation for Hanna's winds, and laying out the drain spout to guide all the heavy rains away from our house.








Thought I could get one last swim in before the pool got slammed with debris... it started raining right when the picture was taken and got kinda chilly so my feet were the only thing that made it in the pool lol.

8:10 PM UPDATE: Officials say that they may be closing the Bay Bridge tomorrow morning because of the winds. We would be stuck here, since we live on an island lol.
