Yay! My "Top 50 of 2007" Is Completed!

It took a year of listening to music. It took weeks to
make, edit, eliminate and choose an album cover. And it took long,
strenuous days of recording, editing, and tweaking to make it all come
together... and now "Mic's Top 50 of 2007" is finally completed! I took
the 50 most played songs on my computer and ipod for 2007 and made it
into the best countdown EVER! And I am glad to say that it will be
available to anyone that wants it! Just call, email or text me and you got it!
I can't wait for you all to hear it! There's pop, rock,
hip hop, country, alternative and some stuff you won't even believe!

Working On Top 50; Maybe New Monthly Music Chart

OK so I'm working on my Top 50 of 2007 and it should be completed and ready for digital download with album cover next week. Can't wait to reveal #1 to everyone!

Ok so my monthly top ten songs each month used to be tracked, but life got so hectic and I stopped. But now I'm looking for other options, so stay tuned. 2008 HERE WE COME!

Told Ya!!

I was right... i said that I thought those blizzard predictions for us were wrong... and they were. Just like I said 4 days ago, its going to be warmer than they thought. We're not going to get anything but rain with temps in the 40's... like I said, lol. Also I said the rain/snow line would probably end up somewhere around the New York City area... and that's exactly where it's gonna be. There will however be an all out, crippling blizzard slamming the interior North East. Wish it was us! Oh well. Here's the updated computer models... just look at the post below to see how much of a difference it is. I'm the yellow dot under "ME"... go figure, lol.

Probably Just Hype, But Is There A Mid-December Blizzard On The Way?

OK, so we had a pretty good snowfall last week of about 3 inches. However, computer models are all starting to point at a major east coast storm around Sunday December 16 and Monday December 17. Yesterday it wasn't on the maps at all, this morning it was and strong, and now according to Accuweather.com meteorologist Henry Margusity, this evenings run of the models put it at record breaking blizzard strength! Now blizzards aren't unheard of here, but one in December pretty much is, especially as strong as this model is putting it at. Now I got my weather geek on, and looking at all forecast models combined put this thing pretty weaker, and with us in much warmer weather, like near the 45*-50* area of the thermometer. In that case, we'd get all rain no matter how much the storm dumps. So my early call is the computer models are getting overly excited about this storm, and they aren't factoring the realistic temperature forcasts. Its going to be a moderate (6"-12") snowfall with the snow/rain line right around the New York City area. Just for craps and giggles, I'm the little yellow dot next to "me". Again in the prematurely forecasted "blizzard" area. Just my thoughts, will keep you posted. I hope we get a blizzard here though with this one, would be so awesome! I want atleast 18"! LOL. Hey, I can dream... especially with the storm arriving before the official start of winter, lol.

SSSSSSSNNNNNOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

YIPEEEEEE!!!!!!! We got our first snowfall and it was actually decent! All in all we got a 3" snow. It started at around 6 AM on Wednesday December 6, and ended at around 11:30 PM. So it was an all day snowfall, the best kind! When it was winding up it came down really hard! It was crazy! Here are two pictures from my front yard the next morning.

Intense Monday Night Football

This is what a intense football game looks like in my household, lol. It was a good game, Ravens vs. Patriots in Baltimore. It was Monday cold night with snow flurries throughout the game on December 3rd. So close. The best game I have ever seen. We lost. But still an awesome game.

Almost Died... Maybe

So the house was filling up with the smell of propane ( I didn't smell it, but others did), and no one knew where it was coming from. Eventually my grandmother found that the BBQ propane tank had been opened completely. Why? Don't know. Cold, sleet and some snow and rain aren't exactly idealic conditions for a cook out, so we haven't had one for a few months, so that wasn't it. Hmmmmm.....

Back From NYC

So my trip to NYC was good. First day, our car broke down. But when your there you don't need a car thanks to all the public transportation. Did a little shopping, and a lot of walking and subway riding. Not much else to say. Here are some pictures I took while bored on the trains, and a hyper video as well!

Stuck In Traffic

Ok so i'm headed to NYC right now and i'm stuck in major traffic. I just crossed into Delaware from Maryland and the traffic is not moving. I really hate traffic! I will deal though, just wanted to vent lol.

I Just Bit My Tongue!

Owwww! I was eating a burger and all of a sudden I was in excruciating pain! I bit my tongue so hard i thought it was bit in half! It hurt so bad. I couldn't move my mouth. I got some papertowels and put it in mouth and sure enough my portal of tastebuds was bleeding. So i got some ice wrapped in a papertowel and am now icing my tongue as i type this.

I Am 1 of 30 People To Get Voyager Today!

Ok so i'm actually writing this on my Voyager! My local Verizon didn't even get any in and won't for a few weeks. So the closest one is about 20 mins away and they only got 30 in! I had to work all day today so my mom actually got up while it was still dark and arrived at the Verizon store at 7AM. She was third in line at that early in the morning! They opened up an hour early and were sold out in 15 mins! They are not going to get anymore in til next week, and it will only be 30 then too. So right now i'm 1 of only 30 people in the entire area to have this awesome phone! I will post a video tomorrow :-)

Major Work Hours Headed My Way; Should I Become Full-Time?

Ok so like 90% of the people that work with me at Bank of America are moving. I mean there are going to be like 3-4 tellers left. That sucks. BUT, it does mean that I'm going to get MAJOR hours and hopefully MAJOR overtime :-). That would rock considering all the money I'm putting out at the moment. It looks like starting in December I could be working between 40-50 hours a week. So awesome! That brings me to my next topic...

... I have been considering going full-time at work. I mean I'm always there 30-40 hours a week now. So being there 40 hours every week might not be a bad idea. The extra mulah would be very appreciated by my bank account as well. So we'll see. I'll make my decision within a week or two while the position is still available.

Hi-Tech Drama

So i've been rambling about technology lately, but here's the breakdown. Last week my phone broke. It won't charge unless you hold the charger in the phone a certain way and sit there until you get enough juice to use the phone. So needless to say, I need a new phone. My contract is up in spring 2008, but some how my local VZW says its time for me to upgrade. I know thats not so, cause my bill says otherwise, and I just know. Its not time, but they say so, so I'm going for it. BUT I just spent $650 on my camcorder and accessories. Well I've been set on the LG Voyager, seen in previous posts, but now VZW just said they have ANOTHER iPhone like phone coming out, its called the Samsung U940. And its awesome lookin. Its aimed for December/January release. So now I'm in a delema. Do I get the Voyager, or wait, for an unknown amount of time for a phone I still know little about because of lack of info? Anyway as I have been debating this little pricey issue, I LOSE MY IPOD! I mean COME ON!!! Lost it yesterday and thought I dropped it as i was running around outside. Didn't find it after hours of searching inside and out. Woke up this morning thinking that now I have to buy a new phone AND a new iPod. Thats about $950! Sucks. I have wanted three things, three major purchases... camcorder (got it), new phone, and iPod touch. I didn't know I'd get the camcorder, than be forced to have to get the other two. Anyway all morning today my fam and I have been searching for the iPod Nano that I call mine. I was scared it was outside in the yard cause it rained all night, and that would be the end of it. I was about to give up and my mom found it... OUTSIDE. :-( It was soaked. She gave it to me and I held it as if it were an ill baby. It was flashing www.apple.com/support/itunes, with a black and white exclamation point. I blow dried it and then I put it on the charger, and nothing except that flashing message for a few minutes... than LIFE! :-D It works :-D I'm so happy. I can't explain it. So now my worries can go back to what phone, and how long do I want to wait? I mean my phone is on the brink of death. Anyway here are the two phones I'm interested in. I just keep telling myself if I wait for the Samsung, by the time its about to come out, I'll hear about another cool phone in the works, and then I'll want to wait for that one. So I'll never get one if I keep waiting. So anyway I have to be logical, lol. Either way I'm only doing a year contract. Ok so here are my two loves... I can only choose one.

Too Excited!

Ok, so I cant contain myself! I NEED MY NEW PHONE! Lol. I am getting way too excited. But i'm starting to get a little weary because I'm looking down the pipeline and seeing a boatload of awesome, sleak, touchscreen futuristic phones making there way to the market. I'm def getting the VOYAGER, but how long will I have it? I dont know, but Im just excited that the phones of the future are finally HERE! :-D

iPhone + EnV = DREAM COME TRUE!

LOL. Ok so I really wanted the iPhone. I mean come on who didn't? And I almost got it. But I just couldn't leave Verizon. Verizon has never let me down, and I can always count on awesome reception with Verizon. VZW also does vigorous testing with phones, so you KNOW that they are quality phones when you get them. So I decided to just hunker down and wait for something else to come along in VZW..... AND IT DID! Its called the Voyager. And thankfully its from Verizon. Its like and iPhone meets the EnV. Its a fully functional touchscreen phone, just like the iPhone, but unlike the iPhone, it actually opens and folds out into a full QWERTY keyboard, like the EnV!!! Now thats freakin' awesome! Its going to cost about $350 for me to get it, but come release day, November 21, 2007 IT'S MINE! LOL. My bank account has certainly taken a beating this month. $650 for camcorder and such in one night, and a few weeks later I'm probably looking at another $400-$500 being sucked outta my account. After that I really have to settle down on spending. I mean these are really that last two things I wanted that were really pricey... oh wait I forgot about the iPod Touch.... crap. Ok after that I'll slow down on spendings lol. But for now my eyes are set on the Voyager! Here's a few pictures of the phone.

She kept following them and the paparazzi started yelling at her telling her to shut up. Than she got too close, again yelling "We dont want you in our neighborhood" and as Britney grasped her younger sisters arm, Jamie Lynn got in the womans face and yelled "Well than move the f**k out of it!". Than the woman pushes Jamie Lynn and the paparazzi start yelling at her not to touch her again, and than protect the sisters from there on out. Drama drama drama. People need to lay off Britney. Still Addicted To "Gimme More";Headed To West Virginia

Well..... I'm still totally addicted to Britney Spears latest single "Gimme More". I thought for sure that after a week or two of compulsive listenage that it would get old. Shoot, even for a time I FORCED myself not to listen to it every ten minutes. That lasted for about a few days, but since then it seems I am listening to it as if it was released yesterday... NON STOP! I will listen to it, than another song or two, and than "Gimme More" again. Even going as far as 3-4 times in a row with nothing inbetween! The beat is simple but addictive, but what really gets me is the chorus, repeatedly saying "gimme more" over and over and over again with her catchy, nasally voice that makes it soooo catchy and great!

I am headed to West Virginia for the weekend! Gonna go see Joyce and Chuck and eat a lot of great food and have a good ol' time. I'm comin' back either Monday or Tuesday. I have to get back to work on Wednesday.

OMG! Jumbo Military Planes Fly Over My House Numerous Times!

Yeah so some HUGE jumbo military planes flew really really low over my house today. They didn't fly together, they were like 5 mins apart. They did it about 3 times each. I was so excited i didnt know if I was taking pictures or videoing with my phone. This is the outcome, all the pics and vid I got.

Guns + Animals = MURDER!

I HATE hunting! Its is a vial, pointless, selfish, murderous way to pass the time. Hunting is the shooting of innocent, helpless, and often majestic creatures that have lives of their own. There is only one purpose of hunting that I am OK with and that is to supply food for ones family WHEN NEEDED. However, when someone has a refrigerator and freezer full of food, or has the means to comfortably afford food from the grocery store, killing the animal and bringing it home IS NOT PROVIDING NEEDED FOOD! What makes hunting even worse, is that usually the animal often suffers excruciating pain after being shot, sometimes for hours gasping for air as their lungs that were punctured by an arrow or bullet slowly collapses and fills with their own blood. Many times, the victims young babies are nearby and often watch their parent, and provider of safety and food cry out in anguish, and there is no one to help or ease the suffering, and often after the baby sees that horrific scene, it too parishes from lack of nutrition/safety, all because a selfish, thoughtless human being was bored and needed to pass some time! What a freaking shame! You just need to imagine spending a beautiful day at the park with your mom and all of a sudden an arrow shoots right into her chest, and you two begin to panic, you see your mom gasping for air, frantically trying to survive, uttering last words to you, as blood oozes, or even pours out of her mouth and nose. Than after a period of time someone comes up and pokes your mom to see if she's alive. Once its "all clear", the hunter leans over and proudly lifts your moms now lifeless head, still fresh with a look of anguish plastered on her face, and the hunter poses for a picture taken by a friend. PICTURE THAT KIND OF FREAKING SCENE EVERY TIME YOU THINK ABOUT HUNTING, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!!!

An All Britney Weekend

So as all of you know, Britney Spears released her comeback single "Gimme More" on Thursday. Well ever since then, I have played NOTHING else on mt iPod other than Britney Spears! Finally after ALL weekend of Brit, I have FINALLY forced myself to listen to something other than her. I mean I had to, it was getting compulsive.

The Music Industry Is Back... And I Feel Like A Teeny-Bopper Again!

Yeah so I was listening to the top songs of the day on the radio when they do their nightly countdown and it was soooo cool. Justin Timberlake was #3 with "LoveStoned", Backstreet Boys were #2 with "Inconsolable" and debuting on the coutdown less than 24 hours of adding it to the playlist, at #1 is Britney Spears with "Gimme More". It has been a long time since Britney, Justin and the Backstreet Boys were all together on a countdown, and I loved it! It was so surreal. Anyway, all we needed was X-Tina and the world would be whole again, lol. Anywho, "Gimme More" has debuted at #1 on practically every radio station in less than 24 hours AND is already #1 in Canada and Australia... IN UNDER 24 HOURS! Thats awesome.

Obsessed With A New Song!

Yeah so most of you probably know who Heidi Montag is from "The Hills" on TV. Well she and her boyfriend/fiance Spencer Pratt were fooling around in the recording studio, and somehow the song "Body Language" leaked. Heidi says that it isn't even supposed to be on the album, it was just for fun. Never the less I LOVE IT! I really should be a single. Its so catchy! I wouldn't be surprised if this black horse of a song makes it into my Top 50 for 2007! Stay tuned!

Yipee! Summer Fun!

So Tray came down and visited from Massachusetts. We had a lot of fun. We went to Baltimore to the aquarium, we walked the Harbor. We went and saw some movies, "Hot Rod", "Rush Hour 3" and "The Invasion". OMG. "The Invasion" was AWESOME! So intense.
Here we are getting a massage by some very aggressive chairs! As you can see by my face it was quite intense, lol.

Hurricane Dean!

Yeah so I told you I told you I told you! Dean is now a major major major major hurricane with winds of 145 MPH! Yeah, like I said. The only thing I was wrong about was where it's going to hit, looks like Texas. So here's a water vapor image of Dean now... I can't do a visible sat because its night time. Tomorrow Dean will def be the strongest a hurricane can be, CATEGORY 5!

I Was Right

Dean has formed! And he is ready to explode! Take a look at this sattelite image just taken of Dean Dean is starting to grow, and it really looks like Dean will hit Florida as a major hurricane. Will keep updating ya on how I feel about Dean.

Major Hurricane Will Hit Florida In 2 Weeks

By the title, you may think that it is way too early to say something like that. Especially if you know anything about weather and know that there isn't even a named system out there in the Atlantic, nevertheless a hurricane! However, I have been watching a tropical wave come off the African Coast the past few days, and thought to myself that this thing has the potential to be a monster. And boy... so far I am right. Computer model are just picking up on this "wave" and they are screaming at us to do something. Current models are all saying that this thing will start turning and growing... FAST. They a pointing the path straight for Florida on August 21 at Category 4 or 5 strength. That is no exaggeration. Take a look at this current sattelite image of the not even named system.
What you see right there is soon to be Hurricane Dean. And "he" might not even have a name yet, but I guarantee you, this time tomorrow (or even sooner) he will.

I Am A "Georger"!; I Might Finally Have A Breakthrough With Video!

Yay ok, so I have officially jumped head first into WheresGeorge.com! You know how you see something like "Track This Bill At WheresGeorge.com" or something like that on money? Well that's what I am doing. I bought a WheresGeorge stamp (in February) and have been stamping bills off and on and registering them online so I can follow their progress! Its so cool! I just entered my 100th bill last night! So cool. I have hits in 2 counties here in Maryland and on in Jacksonville Beach, FL! So yeah take a look at my George page. I Love Summer, I Hate The Heat... Makes Sense Right?

HOT HOT HOT! And I'm not just talkin about my bod! It's scorching out there! And to make things worse, it's extremely humid. Anymore humid and we'd be swimming in the air! It's quite miserable, however I would rather all of this over a cold winter day. I still like everything alive and hot, rather than dead and cold, lol. I Dare You Not To Get Goosebumps!

I have officially found the BEST male singer EVER! His name is Shayne Ward, and he is from the UK. He was a contestant on "The X Factor" in the United Kingdom (England, duh) in late 2005. He won, and OMG I know why. This guy is certainly atleast 5x better than any other male singer not just on American Idol, but that I have ever heard! It is truly unbelievable. I keep on listening to his LIVE performance of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", and lemme tell you this, the only reason why Julie Andrews is safe is because she's the original singer, but other than that, Shayne is truly the best singer for this song! Britney Spears HAS To Make A Comeback

I am 100% routing for Ms. Spears. I mean, she was a HUGE player in my childhood. Music would NOT be the same without her, and I can't imagine what the music world would be like without her. She has to stop and think of what she's doing! I really can't wait for her new song. In the coming weeks, I will be talking about two things... Britney and High School Musical 2. Rihanna Breaks Up Fight!

This is pretty cool and admirable of Rihanna. She was performing at one of her concerts, and in the middle of the song she saw some people fighting in the audience. She then ubruptly stopped her song and set things straight extremely quickly. Watch the video and see her yell at the idiots. I love Rihanna, and this is just another reason why she's my Number 2 girl. (of course no one can take Kelly's number 1 spot).

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I love "Hairspray"!!! So as I have said before, I'm really into "HIgh School Musical", and of course it's the biggest Disney revolution to date, and I think it single handedly brought back musicals for my generation. YAY! So "Hairspray" was spawned for 2007! I first learned about "Hairspray" aroung April when I saw a little sign for it at the theatres when I was seeing another movie. And that's when it caught my interest. At first I thought it was gonna be cheesy and no one would see it. Then about a month and half later, I went to West Palm Beach, FL and saw a preview at the theatres for "Hairspray" and I was instantly hooked. I knew it was gonna be really big when Zac Efron (who is also the lead guy in High School Musical), came on the preview and the girls in the audience screamed for him! I was like OMG, this is crazy. So since then I have been counting down the months, than weeks, then days and even hours until I could see it. And finally that inevitable Friday came. Friday, July 20, 2007. I went to work at 8 AM, and was there until 6:30 PM doing nothing but thinking about going to the movies. Finally I got out of work, rushed home, got on Fandango.com and tried to get tickets for the 7:20 PM showing, but it was sold out! So the 8:20 PM show it was. And this is how the evening went.

So I buy the 8:20 PM tickets and we're off to the movies. I am so excited I snap this picture on the way to the movies... and don't worry I wasn't driving. OK so we're on the road, now ming you we left the house at 7:00 PM, and we get to the main road and there is traffic, so we sit on the Bay Bridge for about 15 minutes and get to the theatre at around 7:30 PM. Since we already bought the tickets, all we had to do was give them our slip and they printed up our real tickets. Which is seen here... . So after we get our stubs, the lady kindly says your over there, in that line. Look over and there is a line the size of Texas- ok maybe not- but still its pretty big considering it was 50 minutes before the movie even started. So this is the front half of the line... . So we get in line and wait for about 10 mintutes and then we are greeted by the theatre manager who comes out with a "Hairspray" wig in his hands. He announces that the show is sold out and that we will all have to sit shoulder to shoulder. So we are all let in and find our seats. Thankfully we got awesome seats, despite the crowd. So now the time is 7:50 PM and the theatre is virtually full 30 minutes before the previews even start! Seats become valuble commodities, and small fights start over seats. Anyway, I get more and more excited to the point that my stomach is in knots! So I get up and relive my bladder at around 8:10 PM. Then I run back to the theatre and people are talking excitedly as the seconds count down to 8:20PM. The lights dim and the cheers begin. All of this excitement makes me get up and run to the bathroom again! I run back into the theatre, and sit all anxious about the movie. And then for a third time, I get up and dart to the mens room. I was so excited, I had to pee every freakin 5 minutes! So sit back down and the movie starts. Zac Efron is shown and all the girls swoon, I swear he's the freaking next Brad Pitt! So lucky. Anyway, it was pretty cool that the whole movie is based right here in Baltimore, my very own backyard. Even made it that much better. Anywho, when the movie ended, everyone screamed and clapped with satisfied joy. The credit music begins and everyone gets up and starts dancing in the isles. I leave the theatre completely happy with the experience, realizing that this truly is my generations "Grease". I enjoyed the movie so much that the next day, I actually saw it again. Musicals are truly making a comeback with "High School Musical", "Hairspray", "High School Musical 2", the remake of "Footloose" (which has Zac Efron as the lead character), and talk of "High School Musical 3" coming to theatres to close out the series! All of which have Zac Efron, what the heck? Seriously. LOL. Anyway, I'm excited about all of these movies, and can't wait to see each one of them!

HAIRSPRAY!

So I saw "Hairspray" last night, loved it, and then saw it again tonight! I will have all the details tomorrow, but I am too tired to talk tonight.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!! Zac Efron! John Travolta! Brittany Snow! Amanda Bynes! Queen Latifah! All here in Baltimore for the "Hairspray" premiere!!!!!!! OMG! I LOVE "HAIRSPRAY" AND I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE MOVIE YET!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for FRIDAY!!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

OMG, I Can't Believe I'm About To Say This...

I HAVE A GUILTY PLEASURE!!!! Not just any guilty pleasure, but a Disney Channel guilty pleaure **blushes**. I LOVE the show "Hannah Montana" and find some relief on the net seeing that a quite a few guys my age and even into their 30's watch and like the show (in a non-creepy kinda way), and girls too. So that kinda helps. I never thought that I would like Miley's a.k.a. Hannah's music, but I am really into two of her songs off her new album Hannah Montana 2 / Meet Miley Cyrus. So yeah. Now you know my deepest darkest secret.
