Update Delayed a Day or Two

Big, Possibly HUGE Life Events Happening

Ok, so there has been a theme in my last few posts. It kinda was in the area of... sad, depressed, trying not to cry and hoping life turned around. Well, I think there is a slight chance things may be turning around. I sure hope this isn't some cruel trick the world is playing on me...I hope this is the break I'm looking for. What is happening? Well I will let you know Sunday night. That's Sunday, November 13 :) I'm quite busy for the next few days and its gonna take some time to explain. But I will certainly update you then :)

Snowstorm...in October!

Alrighty, so long story short... a rare, actually never happened before in history kind of storm hit the northeast today. Heavy snow fell from northern Virginia and western Maryland all the way up to Maine. Some areas received 3 FEET of snow! At home, we got nothing but flurries after all day rains. However, last night (Friday night) David and I drove up to Harrisburg, PA for the storm we didn't wanna miss! It has been awesome. So much snow before Halloween! I will post pics later :) I'm off to bed now!

Big Day Coming Up

Tomorrow (technically later today) is a big day for me. I have made a decision about what I wanna do with my life and I'm going for it. I may be turned away or accepted with open arms in the fate I'm choosing...either way the suspense of not knowing is killing me. At least I now know what I want. It's just a matter of GETTING it. Tomorrow will either be a very good, productive day, or one that will be a disappointment and something I need to move on from. I will update this post with the results. As for now, I can't sleep with anticipation. Been in bed for two hours now and just can't sleep. Blah. Come on morning! I can't wait to send the email that will start, or end, it all!

Regrets and Mistakes

Sure, many wonderful things have happened this year. However, they pale in comparison to the not so good things. I will admit, 90% of my problems this year are MY FAULT. I can already see that 2011 will be "The Year of Regrets and Mistakes" for me... I'm trying to correct any further regrets, but I am making it hard on myself. I fear the biggest mistake I made so far this year, was just last week... and it potentially was a doozy. I haven't decided yet, hopefully I realize I did the right thing... I hope I did.. but I'm scared I made a huge mistake. But that's in the past and I NEED to find a way to pave a brighter future, filled with less regrets and mistakes. All I can say is lyrics from Adele's "Someone Like You" never have fit more appropriately when she sings "regrets and mistakes, they're memories made"... they certainly are... memories I need to remember and learn from and move on.

Coming Around

Ok, I'm starting to come around now. The reason I've been so sad is I have had to turn down two amazing job opportunities and it has KILLED me. And it has made me feel worthless and low. I am still trying to be optimistic and keep my head up... and being surrounded by people who love me and support me helps for sure. They make sure I know I am worth something. And I appreciate it :) Hopefully more smiles are to come more frequently. And hopefully the same goes for money haha

I'm Depressed

That's why I'm not posting. I am literally depressed. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life at all. :'( This may be my lowest point. I need life to turn around. Now. Right freaking now!

Cold Weather; iPhone Announcement

Well, it may only be the first few days of October, but it seems the weather wants to skip fall and head straight into winter! It has been cloudy and rainy for about a week now, with highs in the low 50's and lows in the 40's! And in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and western Maryland there have even been a couple inches of SNOW! Can you believe it!? Hopefully, this is a sign of a cold and snowy winter :D

Now... onto something I have been waiting for for MONTHS! The next iPhone. I am careful not to say iPhone 5 because many rumors lately are pointing to an iPhone 4S, NOT an iPhone 5. I hope those rumors are incorrect. iOS 5 is about to be released and it would only make sense if the iPhone 5 corresponded with the release of iOS 5. The announcement will take place at 1PM EST tomorrow and as SOON as I know what we are looking at, I will make a post. Now, I know I have always been a huge supporter of Android, well after a few years backing Android, I have to admit... IT SUCKS. I gave Google years of time to fix bugs and glitches and fragmentation issues and they just haven't even touched the problems Android has. iPhone has proven dependable and reliable time and time again and this is why I now want to make the switch. I have no money right now and that means I can't get it right away... but as soon as I can, if it's the iPhone 5 and not the iPhone 4S... I will be getting it.

Yesterday was a pretty awesome day :D Why? Because my old friend, whom I had not seen in 6 years, came over and hung out! Who? Alicia Martinez :D I missed her so much! She's doing well and that's awesome. We sat around and watched tv and talked for hours :D It was so good seeing her!

Here they are! The first one looking all squished looking is David's (although they are both our daughters) and her name is Audi. Then the second one, mine is Callie. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!

New Sugar Gliders!

Ok, well... it happened... David and I decided to adopt... SUGAR GLIDERS! And no, that's not a typo... I meant for that to be plural. Yuppers, David and I adopted two beautiful baby girls from Pocket Pets when they were on tour at Marley Station Mall on Monday. They are about 8 weeks old and ADORABLE. David's baby, "Audi" is a bit more fluffier and "snappy" right now then mine. Mine remains nameless at the moment, I just can't come to a decision! She's so beautiful she needs a name that does her justice!

Now you may be asking why I got more gliders when I already have two. And that is a good question. To make the answer short and to the point... my mom wanted to raise my first Glider "Sydney" and so she did, then she loved it so much, she got a second one for herself and Sydney, named "Shelby". She has them and cares for them and loves them very much. However, I really wanted one and so did David, so we talked and researched and discussed and finally decided to get one... then we decided two would be better so we adopted two at one time. I can already say that I love my baby gurl and have a stronger attachment to her already than I ever did with Sydney. I don't like dislike Sydney AT ALL! She's just not mine. I will update this post when I come up with a name. Look for pictures next week of the new additions to our family!

UPDATE: I have named my Sugar Glider "Callie" :)
I can't wait to introduce our babies, Audi and Callie, to the world soon!

Chill Day Out With David and My Mom

Well today is going pretty well. I'm trying to just chill and not worry about money too much. David and I were able to sleep in today and then run some errands. Then we went home and met up with my mom, ran more errands with her and now we just left Red Lobster and are off to Marley Station Mall (ew) and look at Pocket Pets. I'm almost certain we won't get one, but David wants to see them. It's the last day they will be here in a very long time. Lol. 

New Design; Possibly Life Changing Decision

Alrighty let's talk about two things here... first things first...
I HAVE A NEW DESIGN FOR THE BLOG! I mean it's nothing crazy, just an updated Autumn look, but I like it :)

Second, I made a decision today and it's one of those things I do not want to talk about until I know more. But I did make a big life decision today and moved forward on something...I will keep you updated :)

What!? Is This a Post!?

Haha ok ok ok so life... wow... life lol. Anyway, I am debating on whether or not to start this blog up again... if I do it will definitely be like wiping dust off an old book or something. As you can imagine, life has been interesting and eventful since I last updated. To make a long story short...

-David and I are still together
-We moved to Kent Island into a waterfront condo
-I have an amazing job where I work in insurance and am basically self employed
-I am pretty much obsessed with switching out my Android phone (HTC Thunderbolt) for the upcoming iPhone 5
...I'm sure there's A LOT more...but I will update more if I decide to ressurrect this blog... if I do...it will be pretty soon. :)

Partying Tonight?

So it's a Thursday night... why would I go out and party tonight? Because on Saturday, I work early in the morning (get up at 7am). So Friday nights are really out of the question unless I don't go into the office on Saturday, which is totally my choice, but I am choosing to be responsible right now. Lol. So David, Kristina and I are thinking about going out tonight to Cobalt, a gay bar/lounge in DC. Question is, should we take a can or metro? Idk yet. Hopefully we have a good time... if we even go haha.

I've Been Gone For A While

Wow...well what can I say. My life has changed QUITE a bit since I last posted. I even thought about not posting again on here because I have Twitter, Facebook and now a Tumblr. And since life is SO busy now (busier than its ever been before) I almost forgot about my first and ORIGINAL blog. Then I realized... I CAN'T DO THAT! So here I am. Back from the shadowy depths of social networking confusion. In all honesty... I probably wouldn't even be posting this unless I had this phone app to allow me to sit on the couch in the living room of my house as David uses my Macbook in the bedroom. Oh, wait...did I just say David? As in David Gandy? Yes...yes I did. See... I told you a lot had happened...and that's barely the tip of the iceberg! I will make a very long story short...because most of you probably already know anyway...but David made a lot of changes in his life...and I couldn't turn my head. We dated for about 2.5-3 months and then I asked him out...again. And that's that. Lol. Now...another big thing... WORK! I am now a LICENSED insurance agent! Whattttt? Yup that's right. I work with (not for, I'm my own boss) a wonderful company called NAA...National Agents Alliance. And lemme tell ya, they are awesome. So far they have lead me in the right and PROFITABLE direction. I attend meetings and training weekly and travel quite a bit. Get used to hearing a lot about Burlington, NC because that's where the headquarters are. Probably will be down there every other month or so. And DC, Baltimore as well as Philadelphia...they are also hotspots that I will be visiting often. So far, and I have officially been licensed since the middle of February, everything is going amazingly and I love my new job. The freedoms I have, the people I make and the money I earn. Right now being an adult has more positives than negatives. And I hope it stays that way. It's an exciting and awe inspiring feeling to be in control of my life. My happiness. I hope it continues for a very long time.
