Hello Amish Homies!
David and I are going to Lancaster County, PA today and staying the weekend and I'm so excited! I haven't been this excited about something in a long time. I plan on blogging from up there and tweeting plenty of tweets and pics. So make sure to FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER! Click here to follow me now... even when I'm lacking blog updates... I tweet daily. I will be back soon to post about what's happening up in Amish Country later tonight or tomorrow!
David and I
Alright... so I am going to try and do this respectfully and honestly without going too far or pushing any buttons that don't need to be pushed. Ok so here we go...
Lately you have probably noticed I've been down. Lack of posts and unhappy posts when I did blog. Well... what's up with that? It's not a secret that David and I have had our issues... some major. However we are working on them. And doing so as responsibly as possible. As for me personally, it's hard for me to give up on a relationship. I will admit, there isn't much "glue" left holding us and the relationship together anymore... but it's still there and there is always the ability for more "glue" to be added and strengthen the relationship. I care for and love David very much. We are approaching 6 months together and I hope we spend many more months, hopefully happier months, together. However I am also aware of the possibility that it won't work out. I hope it does though. Either way... I am making paths in my life that will hopefully guarantee my happiness no matter what. Of course being with someone and sharing my life with them is the ultimate happiness and I can only hope it continues like it is now.

Wow... :'(
The last month has been probably one of the worst in my life. I haven't updated just for that fact. However I will a bit later, when I gather myself more and am ready to talk.

Fun Day in DC
So on Saturday, August 14, David and I went to Dc just to hang out for the day. We had nothing better to do. So we rode the metro into DC and then we walked around for a bit. We went the the Smithsonian where I saw so many awesome things. Yes, even tho I have lived here all my life, I have NEVER been to the Smithsonian! And then we went to DuPont Cirlce and walked around there as well. It was a nice chill day.

And as far as the rest of the week up until now goes, I hung out with Courtney and Kris a lot... Court and I saw "Twilight: Eclipse" and "Vampires Suck" yesterday. Courtney leaves tomorrow for college. So this was like a goodbye. Anyway, who knows what this weekend has in store.

"Ice Cream Truck"
You have GOT to love this song and video! In a weeks time it went from 0 views to 1,000,000... it went viral haha.
Baysox Game
So its a bit past 1am and I'm about to head to bed, but I wanted to briefly touch on what fun I had earlier today. At around 3pm I picked Kristianna up and we headed to my dads house. There she got to meet my dad and Mrs. Jessie, and grandparents. We all met there and then headed to Rips in Bowie at around 4pm. We had a nice dinner there. During dinner my dad got a phone call from one of his friends saying they weren't gonna make it to the Baysox game to which we were going after dinner. So that freed up 2 tickets so I let David know and he said he'd come. So we get to the stadium and its all Navy people. All midshipmen and everything. It was awesome :-) Anyway we get there around 6pm and David got there around 7pm. We had a BLAST. It was so much fun. The Baysox lost, but its ok. We had a great time. Then there were fireworks after the game and it filled the stadium up with thick smoke. That was entertaining lol. Oh and during the game, we had a very successful wave going, thanks to all the coordinated midshipmen. At the end of the night, around 10pm we headed back to my dads house where we played some pool and then left around 1130pm. It was a great night and I'm glad my friends were there to enjoy it with me :-)

Goodish Week
So last week was ok. On Monday I spent some time with Kristianna and Travis. And then Tuesday I went over Davids... and what was supposed to be a few hours of me showing him and his mom how to use their new Android phones, turned into me staying almost a full week until Sunday. On Saturday he and I went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. We got there at 3pm and couldn't even get in until 6pm. It was fun though. We walked around the Inner Harbor a few time and then sat around in the shade. Very nice. Great weather Below is a pic of me in the grass... amusing I know lol.

And finally on Sunday I left David's and went to Scott and Jackie's 18th birthday/ graduation party. That was a lot of fun. We played about 3 hours of baseball and a few other unnamed games. It was a blast :D Who knows what this upcoming week is in store.

Ok, I Will Try And Explain
The last couple weeks or so have been completely insane. As you can tell by my previous post, I have been and petty much still am an emotional wreck, or rather I guess the best way to put it is emotionally down. I'm not really a wreck at this point. I will explain further in a bit, but first, let me update you on everything else that has been happening.
I will start off with Jolene. Who you ask? My new dog... sorta. See David's family had a dog and long story short, now she lives with my family and I. She's so much fun lol. She's so hyper and loving. She gets along great with all of our other animals... except the cats... she's terrified of them lol. It's hilarious. Oh and she needs to sleep UNDER the covers on my bed RIGHT against my body.
Ok now let's jump to going to the club. Boy, that's a LONG story in itself. But let's make it short shall we? Ok. I went to TOWN with Ashley Smith (her first time at a club) and we had a blast. We met up with Molly, Nic, Mat, Christie and Matt Cash there and other friends I know through the "scene"...ew... lol. We had a blast and it was a good night out. Below is a blurry pic of Christie and Matt on the table in the middle of the floor dancing.

Moving on to... MY DAD! I've been spending quite a bit of time with him. Last week we went to Hong Kong with Mrs. Jessie and Brett and Craig, just like old times. And now he has completely made another level to the house and upstairs is a game room where he and I shoot pool all the time. It's been fun. So that's a continuing of that story.
CRAZY STORM! Yeah can you guess what this section is devoted to? Haha. Two Sundays ago, I was over Davids, and we had a CRAZZZZYYY storm! Definitely the strongest winds I've been through before. It blew trees completely out of the ground and knocked out power for days. Driving around PG county without any traffic lights is HORRIBLE! Below are some pictures after the storm...

Finally, last night Kristianna and I went to Travis Dragan's house and hung out there until about 1:30am. We had a blast pretty much doing nothing at all. But somehow, it was so much fun. And then when Kris and I were driving home from Pasadena at 2am, we had the top down and we were blasting Whitney and Mariah... epic <3. Anyway here is a pic of Travis trying to be all gangsta haha. Gotta love it :D

Ok, so FINALLY we come to what's been so bad in my life. I am going to try and make this as generic and respectful as possible. David and I have admittedly had some issues lately and we went through a period where we were broken up. However we decided to try it one more time and again, recently it has fallen apart. I care for and love him very much and it's hard right now. I have treasured every moment with him and I hope with all my being that we can stay friends. If not, I definitely have no hard feelings for him or our past. He means the world to me.

Having A Hard Time
Life is throwing me a lot of curve balls right now... and I'm having a hard time dealing with it. That's why I'm not really updating or saying much recently...I've just been keeping to myself. When I have more to say, I will. I'm just trying to deal at the moment, that's all.

Saw My Dad and Everyone Else
So yesterday was a party for my grandfather and dad's birthday. Everyone was there, and I got to see my dad and everyone else again. We played baseball and swam and some other fun stuff. It was great seeing my cousins again and everyone. Definitely cool.

California Gurls... Gay Style
I've watched this video countless times in the past couple of weeks and decided it should be posted on here for all of you... even though you've probably already seen this video out in the wild.

Whoa! Big Life Events!
When I turned 22, I said that I thought this would be a big year for me... and already that's proving to be true. I think the biggest, by far, event is me being back in touch with my dad and his side of the family. I'm talking to about half the family right now, including my dad. I've seen Aunt Marianne and Uncle Kurt in person and I will meet up with my dad in the next couple of weeks. I would post more about this, but really there is nothing more to say other than I plan to stay in touch with them.
Other news would include the fact that I went to OC with my mom, David and Kristianna on Wednesday to go to court for the ticket I got when I drove David and I down. Well when I showed up at court, the officer never showed, so the whole thing got thrown out :) We stayed Thursday as well and left Friday. It was a nice trip.
I'm also still looking for a job and am having an internal battle with what I want exactly. I mean, I want a career... but I don't know what I'm willing to do/give up for it... so that's on going.
I went to Six Flags with Kristianna and that was fun. Not much else to say there.
On the Fourth of July, David bought a whole bunch of fireworks and we had a blast (kiterakky)letting them off in his yard... it was awesome :)
And finally... THE HEAT!!! The past couple of weeks, low 90s are considered cool! We have hit 100* several times in June and July. And one day Baltimore hit 105*, Frederick hit 107* and DC hit 103*. The heat has been insane and of course record breaking.

22
Well... here we are. The dreaded 22. The good ol' double two. Double dos. Twin two's. Just think, once I live the life time I've already lived... I will be 44! Man. Anyway, 21 treated me well, I guess. I definitely made the most memories being 21 than I think any other age. It was fun and sad and exciting and depressing and enthralling and cool and insane and adventurous and so many other words I could describe... but you get the point. 21 was probably my biggest year yet. Looking back on my post about turning 21 last year, I was in a time of my life where I had never been happier. A time where I was on Cloud 9 and then some. It was amazing. I also stated that I hoped when I posted about turning 22 a year later, that I'd still be just as happy. I will admit, I'm not as happy as I was this time last year, but life has it's ups and downs. Also right now I have MANY options for my life. From personal things, to choosing a new job, preferably a career. Maintaining and growing relationships and friends. Really carving a path for MY LIFE and MY FUTURE. I feel, that the age of 22 will really be the first year that starts my adult life. I believe that when I post about turning 23 a year from today (wow, OLLLD) that I will have a very different life... and I think that's a good thing. I can see some of the things I believe will change, but others, I'm sure, will be a surprise. I'm nervous and excited, hopeful but cautious. I just hope that this time next year, I have a smile on my face, and happiness in my heart.

Hershey Park!
Last Friday, David and I decided we wanted to go to Hershey Park... so we did lol. We went up on Friday evening, got stuck in a TON of traffic and got there after about 4.5 hours. We stayed at the Sheraton and BOY was it a nice hotel. It was like a mini city in itself lol. Anyway we went to Hershey Park on Saturday and had a blast :D We even made a music video to "Bad Romance" and they showed it on TVs in Hershey and when people recognized us, the huge crowd cheered and clapped and yelled for us. Haha, I guess you can say we were famous for a night :) On our way home on Sunday, we saw right off the interstate a very pretty lake and park with some people. We decided to take the closest exit and after about 10-15 mins of adventuring, we found our way to the lake, Lake Redmond. We were able to rent a paddle boat and spent about an hour on the water. Doing small things like this, stopping to smell the roses instead of just looking straight ahead to get home really does enrich your life. I'm so glad we did this. Below are pictures and if you want to watch it, a video of our little Lake Redmond adventure.

The Zoo and Gay Pride
Alright so on Friday the 11th, David and I decided to head to The National Zoo in DC. We went and had a pretty good time. Not too much to detail on that trip. Just a nice, chill day trip :) Below is a picture of me sitting on a large eagle statue haha.

Well later on Friday night, David and I went to TOWN to begin Gay Pride at the club. We had a pretty good time. Tatianna, Morgan and some other chick from RuPaul's Drag Race were there. I went crazy when Tatianna came out! I LOVE HER! :D Anyway we danced the night away and came home and had a good day overall. Although, by the time we got home, I could barely move. Haha below is David and I getting it on on the dance floor... the strobe lights gave me crazy eyes lol

And finally, Saturday was the actual Pride Parade. That was so fun! So many people and events and happiness! They were throwing beads and candy and so many other random things. It lasted for about 3 hours! But it was totally worth it! Below are some pictures from the parade. I didn't take too many pictures, but at least I got a few.

The 3G Post - Graduation, Geocaching and "Glee"
So last Thursday, June 3, was Kent Island High School's graduation for seniors. It was a sad but exciting time. I got to see so many of my friends graduate and move closer to their futures. This summer is going to be hard knowing most of them are leaving me in a couple months. I'm going to try and hold onto them as tight as possible untl then however. A HUGE storm hit the school during graduation. The lights went out, thunder boomed, people screamed... it was AWESOME! Haha! I went to graduation with Cyndl, who graduates next year :)

So I've started to participate in a new hobby I recently discovered. It's called geocaching. To learn more about it go to their site geocaching.com . Basically, it's a worldwide treasure hunt amongst millions of people in an underground like community. I was shocked at how many people know about it. And it's pretty fun! David and I went geocaching for the first time on Sunday, using my Droid, we found 2 caches successfully. Here are two pics from our adventure!
Above: Our first geocache ever. Found in bleachers.
Below: Found this one in the woods :)
"Glee" has become an absolute obsession of mine. I'm ADDICTED to it. And the season finale is tonight. And I gotta tell ya, I'm going crazy with anticipation! Haha. The next season doesn't start until 2011... HOW WILL I LIVE!? Haha, I'm sure I will find a way. But tonight is all about the finale and I can't wait. "Glee" certainly has become one of the best shows of the decade. :)

Rest of Ocean City Trip...
So it's been over a week since David and I got back from OC, but I'm just now gonna tell you about it lol. So I left you off right before we hit Ripley's Believe It or Not, the mirror maze and the lazer maze. Well they were all so fun! David and I had a blast!
Sunday: Sunday, we laid out and tanned quite a bit. We hit up the arcade some more I think, walked around and just enjoyed the sights. We also decided that we wanted to stay an extra day... so we decided to leave on Tuesday instead of Monday.
Monday: So we had to switch rooms quickly and after that.. we tanned some more and walked around, had a nice dinner. Just chilled. The last couple of days in OC we very relaxing and just nice :)
Tuesday: So we wake up early... like 6:45am early (thanks babe lol) and we pack up and then go for a bike ride in the morning on the boardwalk. That was SOOO fun. I'm glad David wanted to do that. I will probably do that every time I go now. Here's a video of that...
Then we returned them and walked around a bit, played some more at the Arcade. Got fudge and popcorn and a funnel cake and made our way back home. :) It was a very nice "honeymoon" type of vacation. For future reference, The Hotel Monte Carlo is very nice and convenient.
Here are some pics from the trip :)

Having a Great Time in OC
So in an attempt to keep my blog better updated, I'm trying to get back to mobile blogging as well, so that's what I'm doing lol. Anyway, yesterday David and I got here at around noon, I got a speeding ticket for doing 70 in a 55 as soon as we got into Ocean City... YAY MY FIRST TICKET! I blame it solely on the fact David was in the car haha. Anyway we were able to check in early and hit the boardwalk. We enjoyed some Thrasher's Fries and played a lot of arcade games and did a lot of walking and people watching. We enjoyed a candle lit bath in the jaccuzzi in our room and got to bed. I didn't sleep too well cuz of loud neighbors.
Today we have walked around a lot again. Tanned on the beach for a bit. played a couple hours sort of mini golf. And again, enjoyed another candle lit bath in the jaccuzzi.
Now we are about to head on out and go to Ripleys Believe It or Not and see the museum, go thru the mirror maze and the later maze. So excited! Then walk around some more and eventually eat a late dinner.
WE ARE DEFINITELY HAVING A BLAST SO FAR THIS WEEKEND!
