Sooo for like several weeks now, pretty much all of January, I've gone to every single movie that has come out... and every Friday I have gone midnight bowling with friends. I've gone with Courtney, Kristianna, Tim (haha), John C., Austin, Travis, Christie, Will and Travis. Lots of bowling time lol. Also, movies... I've probably spent close to $400 on movies this month. I know that's hard to believe... but I've gone to a movie like ten days in a row now lol. It's bad. I'm hoping in February to pull back on going out a bit and working on spending some time with myself. That sounds good... even productive. I will keep you posted. :)

I'm Meeting Kathy Griffin Today!
Ok so yes I am still going to get my review out. And yes I will still get my eyes checked... just not until next week. Now, today is ALL about Kathy Griffin. I woke up this morning, saw she was in DC, and im about an hour, Nic (who is a huge fan of her) and I will be headed her way to get books signed and hopefully pictures taken. I'm So Sorry For No Updates This Month
This is hands down the worst month in history as far as updates go. I know at the beginning of the month i promised a review of the past year, month by month, and i had 10 months completed... and i just havent been able to complete those last two months! I will try to get to it as soon as possible. I have a feeling that January 2010, altho one of my most interesting and drama filled months in my life, will simply be recorded falsely as a non event. However, when i do post my review for 2009, my intent is to also make another post outlining, or at least doing my best to touch the majors that have occured this month. Cuz theres been a lot. Probably enough to make a good book...maybe even a movie lol. Hopefully i can get to this tomorrow, however i am getting my eyes tested so that might not be possible. We shall see. I am in the middle of a furlough week from work (thank you economy) so i SHOULD have some time this week to work on my updates and then hopefully find that February is a better month for updating, or a better month just in general for me.

2009, The Best Year of My Life
So now that 2010 has begun, it is time to briefly look back at the year that just passed. And boy, what a year it was! 2009 was easily the most exciting, lifeful, fun, amazing and best year of my life. I cannot explain how much I loved this past year. It was like I was on top of a mountain looking down at my previous years. I will miss 2009, it was full of so many incredible and unforgettable adventures and experiences with new friends and people I love. So lets take a look at the best year of my life on a month to month basis, and see how I got to where I am today. To see any pics from 2009, just go to that months posts in the sidebar.
JANUARY: The year didn't start out so great, because January is when I experienced my first kidney stone. No fun lol. However January quickly became one of the most memorable months in my life when I got a visit from a certain two people... Jared and Elizabeth! We all know where that went. I started to be true to myself, allow me to be ME and I got my first boyfriend. I also planned my first trip to visit Jared's family. I met some new friends in January as well... Amanda, Bethany, Olivia and Travis. :)
FEBRUARY: At the start of the month I went to Salisbury University and spent the weekend in the dorm and had a blast with some aquaintances. It was cool, and fun to experience that :) Also in February, after many many years, Ashley Smith and I reconnected, and now to this day she is like family :) And finally to round out the month, I made my very first (of many) trip to Asheville, NC to see Jared and his family.
MARCH: The month got off to a very white start, with a great snowstorm. Then it was off to Asheville again to see Jared and his family. However, I also went down because Jared and I drove down to Atlanta, and I saw my first Britney Spears concert :) That was so amazing. I also met Yonas Michael and we still talk to this day. March ended on a low note for me however, when Jared and I seemed to have ended our relationship. At the end of the month, Jared and I saw Britney in DC.
APRIL: Ok, April definitely is the month that opened the door to EVERYTHING. I don't even know where to begin... let's see, in the start of April, Jared and I worked out our issues. I made plans to move down to Asheville. Probably the most defining moment of the month was when I met Courtney for the first time. We knew eachother for like 20 seconds and then she took me to Christie White's birthday party. This is the night, the party that changed it all. I met John Cornett, Christie, Dan, Elle, Amber, and so many more people that changed my life forever, and are still a major factor in my life today. At the end of the month, Jared and I ended our relationship. And then I finally met you know who... Nic. Lol. I met him at Old Love Point Park, he was sitting on top of one of the playsets, like a Prince sitting on his throne. It was pretty epic haha. We all know what happens a few weeks later :) And finally, guess what started to cause a worldwide frenzy at the end of April 2009? Swine Flu.
MAY: I have no idea how to get thru typing this months review without crying lol. Ah! I love this month so much! I went to a gay club (Town) for the very first time in my life with April. I had a blast :D Olivia, Nic and I rescued a bird from a crazy downpour. It was just sitting in the rain dying lol. Also, I went to a Cinco de Mayo party that I ALMOST didn't go to... but I am very glad I did. Later in the month I adopted Sydney. And finally, May 17, Nic and I became official, which shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone who knew us since we were inseperable all month basically lol. In May I also announced that I would be going to California with Nic in July. This month is also when I seemingly moved into the Thibodeau household lol :D
JUNE: Hehe, so many fun time this month! Had a graduation party for all the high school seniors , including Nic. That was SO MUCH FUN and boy do we have, er, stories from that night! Haha. Then the next night did change my life in a way... how? Cuz Will came over Nic's and got WASTED... and I had to take care of him all night into the morning. That started his and my extremely volatile friendship lol. Also in June, I turned 21! BOOOOOO! Haha, but friends did throw me a surprise birthday party. :) June also found me very alone, kinda, as I hurt my hand at work and couldn't work for weeks, and Nic went to Florida for a week and I was alll alone haha. I could not wait for him to come back so I could hug and kiss him and cuddle with him again! :D While he was gone Will and Christie and Nicole and I hung out a lot. Probably the biggest thing to happen in June was the death of Michael Jackson. That is something the world will remember for a very long time. I even wrote all over my car "R.I.P. MJ"
JULY: I went to California with Nic. I had one of the most amazing nights of my life on the Fourth of July with Nic. We were on the beach, watching the fireworks go off... and thats the first time we exchanged those magical words :) one of the best memories of my life. When I returned from San Diego, I came home to an interesting work situation. They had let go about half the employees and gave us Fridays off due to the economy. It stayed like that for the rest of the year. Went to a Kelly Clarkson concert in Delaware with Nic, Christie, Dan, April, Matt and Eric.
AUGUST: I went to Casey's party. Appeared on The Yonas Michael Show on iTunes, went to Mollys going away party and started a bond with Kristianna that will never be broken... thanks to Cooking Mama. At the end of the month Nic and I went to Philly and saw Britney Spears in concert... my third time seeing her this year. However this time I met Felicia, her BEST FRIEND! AH!
SEPTEMBER: Threw Nic a surprise party. Went to Town with Nic and Meghan and Tony M. Went to PA. Pretty straight forward month.
OCTOBER: An amazing month! Phil came down from New York. He, myself, Nic, Will and Elle all went to the March For Equality in DC. That was such an amazing event. I will remember that for the rest of my life. Later in the month, Amanda threw a Halloween party. Everyone was there. We had a blast for sure. That is also where I started to get really close to Kristianna :) Thank goodness for that! At the end of the month was probably one of the most fun periods of the year for me. Homecoming was this month. And although I didn't actually go... I participated in the before and after activities. I went to dinner with Courtney, Nicole, Will, Nic, Amber, Elle and Kristianna at Big Bats for homecoming dinner. We had a blast. Then after dinner, everyone except Elle and I went to homecoming. We went home and just chilled and layed in bed for like 5 hours just talking and bonding. Then we found out that Courtney and Will were coming back over and were spending the night. Long story short, we were up until 4:30am having fun! October continues with the fun! On the 30th, I went to the Halloween party ever! We had sooooooo much fun! I went as a baller. Lol. I was out til 4:45am. It was such a blast :) October started and ended perfectly.

NOVEMBER: Oh boy. November 2009. Well let's see... it didn't start out well or end well. The 4th is when my foot problems began. Before I knew it, I was in a boot and out of work for 3 weeks. This month I also got the new Android phone, The Motorola Droid. I LOVE THIS PHONE SO MUCH! Moving onto the middle of November... is where my year spiraled out of control. This month, Nic and I ended our relationship. I think I said perfectly how I felt about the situation in my post in November, go ahead and look again for a refresher if you want. Needless to say, I didn't post much after that. Most of November was a blur. However, something that wasn't a blur, was Thanksgiving. I spent it with the Thibodeau family. I had two breakdowns after the break up... this was one of them. I was grateful to have a Thanksgiving, especially with the family that excepted and cared for me unconditionally, but in the end, my emotions got to me. But, I had a Thanksgiving, and I am thankful :)
DECEMBER: Helped the Tibs decorate for Christmas. Then in the middle of the month I forced myself to go on a date with a guy I had no interest in. I tried forcing myself to get over Nic. BAD IDEA. It led to my second breakdown. Not gonna detail it... look at December's posts to read the details. A few days after that, I went to DC with Elizabeth. That was a friggin BLAST! :D We had so much fun! She is a nanny for her aunt who works for the government and travels a lot. It helped relieve a lot of stress. I got back and things started looking up. We had a friggin blizzard. Like literally 2 feet of snow. I got snowed in at Nic's for two days. That was fun :) We played in the snow, drank hot chocolate and watched "The Family Stone". Had a great time. I had to dig out my car tho since I was going to Asheville, NC to spend Christmas with Jared and his family. That too was an amazing time. Probably one of the best decisions I made in 2009. The end of the year, New Year's Eve (not mentioned in my blog for good reason) was filled with A LOT of drama. The worst I have ever dealt with in my life probably. I had some fun, but man, was it intense. And thats my December 2009.
Well, thats that. My 2009. Best year of my life. It was primarily a "high" year for me. However, my lowest points in my life probably occured in 2009 as well. But, since 2009 was home to so many extremely perfect moments, it still is easily the best year ever, and those moments continue to lift me up from any "lows" I may encounter today. I can honestly say May 2009- mid November 2009 were all 100% perfect moments. I was happy. The happiest I have ever been in my 21 years of life. It was sinful how perfect life was. And those months are what I carry with me everyday. I hope that soon, maybe 2010, maybe not... I can find something that will take me back to that mental state. I don't know how to get there, or if I should even try. But I do know it's real, I lived it. And I hope 2009 is just the start of my life and happiness. I can only hope that 2010 is just as good. Right now it doesn't seem possible... but if you were to ask me what I thought 2009 would look like at the start of the year, I could have NEVER expected what I lived to happen. And it was great. So 2010, here I come. I can't wait to see what you have in store for me, and for what I get to write about this time next year :) 2010, you have your work cut out for you, 2009 was simply amazing :)
